"I am very busy right now I can't talk to you about anything." Then abruptly hung up. That's the response I got when I called and said I had an inquiry, and began to ask my question. Literally one sentence out of my mouth. My advice: look somewhere else. No idea where all these good reviews came from, these guys were just not interested. UPDATE: The guy called me back, and so I told him I called someone else after he hung up on me. He then YELLED at me on the phone so I said goodbye. He then called back AGAIN. These guys are unhinged. All I wanted to do was ask a question and maybe schedule an estimate. A good chuckle in my day., so maybe it was worth it.
Oct 2025 I used Max again, 3rd time, this time to replace my worn out furnace, the job went perfectly, on time, on budget, good clean up afterwards once again a full 5 stars, can't get better. I used Max twice now, for time sensitive repairs. He does a great job, shows up when he says, and gets it done. No hassles, no fuss, straightforward. No games or upselling, and fair pricing. I fully recommend Aire Max if you want a job done well, the first time and without hassles.
Max and his team really know their craft. They replaced my air conditioner on short notice (2 days) and made sure it was working perfectly (it is). I highly recommend this company. Update: I’ve had two furnace issues. Last year my thermostat died on me. Max was over immediately and installed a new Ecobee. This week, my furnace was pushing out cold air. Once again, Max was over right away and fixed it. He’s my go-to guy and I highly recommend him.
Max was the only furnace technician willing to come to my house to investigate a broken furnace in the middle of the night, when the temperature outside was -22 Celsius. Max is very knowledgeable was able to fix the problem in 30 minutes, for a very reasonable price. Of course when time came again to replace my furnace. I choose Max again. Highly recommended for price, punctuality and dependability. Update July 2025 - called Max to upgrade my water heater. An excellent install within 2 days of making the call. Max is my go-to guy for any HVAC upgrades.
