My tank had been in distress for almost two years, and none of the “big” aquarium stores were able to truly help—just empty advice and no real solutions. Abe and his team at Saltwater Pros completely redesigned my tank and improved the flow. Over the following weeks, he guided me through balancing the water chemistry, controlling algae, and truly understanding my system. He was always available, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Update: I have changed my review to four stars. Spoke with Abe and figured out the reason. Appears to be an issue with both inventory and website. Got it sorted so changed my rating as I said before. Will order something else in coming weeks. Original review: Hate to leave a poor review but not sure what's up with my order. Called two weeks ago and was told it would ship last week. I have emailed four times with no response both via website and direct. Order #6523 still has no update via the SHOP app and no reply. I will try phoning again this week. I will edit review if service or communication improves. Edit: Added order # and photos of some emails. Not a fake review.
So much potential, but the owner is lacking the number one rule of business. Your clients are not stupid! My first interaction with the store was back in May 2025, bought a damsel, brought it home. After checking, the fish had ick. So clearly means that was not quarantine by the store. Contacted them, emailed pictures. No answer. Summer went by, end-of-the-year deals on the horizon, let’s try again. bought three fish and an AI powerhead. Go to the store to pick up the first thing, the store owner said, “I messed up the price of the powerhead if I sell it to you. I will lose $37.” I responded, saying it was fine, refund the powerhead, and I'll take the fish. As he goes to get the fish, he spends like 15 min trying to get them, calls me to the back, and says. Hey, I can't get them now, but come back tomorrow. In the meantime, take this damsel with you. I leave the store without my order and a “free” damsel. Left thinking, he gave me a free fish, but won't give the discount? I go back the next day. Here to pick up the fish. My order was A sunrise dottyback, a wrasse, and a jew damsel. I left the store with another blue damsel, a totally different wrase, and no dotty back (still waiting for the refund). So here we go again. Email the shop, again, no reply! That is the owner's model: sell and forget it!. Too much time is being spent at the front of the store, with no effort from the owner on after-sales, and the main product, which should be the fish! I don’t recommend buying fish or anything from this store. So many other great places in Toronto that offer way better products and prices. Candy Corals, FragBox, and even Big Al’s, to name a few.
Absolutely love this saltwater fish store! The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about marine life. They took the time to answer all my questions and gave me great advice for setting up my saltwater tank. The store is clean, well-organized, and the livestock is healthy and vibrant. You can tell they really care about the well-being of the fish and corals. I’ve been to a few stores in the area, and this one stands out big time. Highly recommend to anyone from beginner to advanced reef keeper!

Most of the pieces I received would of been sold has colonies on other sites. Excellent price, excellent shipping, good communication, definitely will do business again.
Great experience at Saltwater Pros Canada. One of the better coral stores in the GTA that we've been to. Amazing selection of corals, left with so many cool and unique finds.
