If I could give more stars I would. We are a school and order all our materials from Alpha- Mr.Scott. He goes above and beyond and have always been super helpful. He is always reliable, responsive and professional.
Scott was extremely helpful and accommodating when we had an issue with our school’s order. He resolved everything quickly, cost-effectively, and was always prompt with his responses by email and phone. Excellent customer service!
Absolutely terrible experience. We purchased a school book from this bookstore for my kids and paid thousand of dollars and were shocked to find mold growing inside the pages. Mold! Yes , it’s Mold in 4 books ! This bookstore is absolutely disgusting, This is completely unacceptable, especially when selling books meant for children and students. It’s not only unprofessional, it’s also a serious health hazard. Clearly, there is no proper quality control or care for customers. It’s beyond unhygienic — it’s a health risk. The fact that a store would even think of selling something in this condition shows complete negligence and zero respect for customers. If this is how they handle their stock, I can imagine what else specially after the careless attitude from their employees and their manager on handling our complaint as they did nothing with no refund or even exchange to another healthy new books.! What a shame. We filed a big complaint against this store to health Canada and consumer protection Will file another complaint accompanying with video for the 4 books to all school board in GTA to stop dealing with this bookstore Save yourself the money and the headache — avoid this place at all costs. Keep your kids safe and stay away
So happy I discovered this book store. They have an abundance of books and curriculum that align perfectly with Ontarios expectations. Andy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will absolutely be back.
I was charged for books that were marked as “shipped” in the confirmation email, even though they were actually unavailable and never sent. I only discovered this after reviewing my order and noticing the discrepancy a few days later. This feels like a misleading and deceptive practice. Customers shouldn’t have to chase down refunds for items they never received.
Whoever’s responsible for quoting the books is quite rude. Called to follow up on a quote and was told she was too busy to look at my email. When she found out most of my books were over 2 years old she asked for my name so she can “make sure to not look at them” and was told I should just throw them away. I’ve gotten quotes from another company and they did offer to buy back a few books.
Prompt and courteous service with excellent accuracy. Quick and easy transaction. Books were ordered and paid for online and I received a notification when they were ready for pickup.
