We had an early breakfast here today. As soon as we walked in, there was a very strong smell of frying oil throughout the place. I actually suggested to my friend that we go somewhere else due to disturbing smell, but he had already ordered before I arrived. Tea refills were quite slow. When I got home in the evening, my clothes still smelled strongly of oil. It was so bad that I had to change and take a shower after my girlfriend complained about the smell. The omelet was extremely greasy, and the bread was cold. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. I do not plan to return, and I would not recommend it to others until significant improvements are made...
It was my very first time in Meryem Hanim’s and I left here with full belly and big simle on my face! Big kudos to EBRU… Ebru was amazing ! She was super friendly and professional.. also before I left the place I met the owner MERYEM hanım herself . It was a true pleasure meeting her and talking with her. She was so down to earth and very kind! Thank you to MERYEM HANIM and her team
The food and service is absolutely top tier. Their food is traditional style, and the staff are there to recommend and show you the best way to enjoy the food. We went there for breakfast and cannot wait to go back again soon.
The food is very tasty and the breakfast is excellent. However, there seems to be an issue with the ventilation system — there was a very strong smell of food inside the restaurant, to the point that it affected breathing, and the smell stuck to our clothes. I recommend addressing this issue, as it would be a shame not to fix it. We would be happy to return once this problem is resolved.

We had absolutely delicious breakfast, but 0 customer service what so ever. Nobody was coming to check on us, ladies were sitting at the table eating and chitchatting instead of taking care of guests. We had to stand up and come up to them ourselves to ask for stuffs we needed. But the worst part of our experience was bathroom. Door lock doesn’t work properly, so I was walked on with my pants down (excuse me for details) by other guest. At first I thought maybe it was my mistake for not locking the door properly, but when my friend was walked on as well, I realized their bathroom door is broken.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service was genuinely kind and attentive—exactly what you want when you sit down for a good breakfast. If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic, delicious Turkish food and makes you feel at home, this is definitely the spot. I’ll be coming back for sure.
