We had a lovely evening here! We were greeted by the owner (I believe her name was Reena) when we arrived. Our server Roberto was excellent! The salmon was fabulous (nice portion) and prices were fair! Glad to have this traditional neighbourhood gem. Looking forward to trying soup and pasta next time! Thank you!
Had my engagement party with Mastros over the weekend. I have come to Mastros on many occasions and have never been disappointed until now. In the past the food has always been amazing. But this time for my event the food was honestly disgusting. We did pizza and bruschetta for appetizers…I also asked for potato croquettes that was not even provided, then we had pasta and tomato sauce…it was supposed to be penne with rose sauce…then we had chicken parm, salad and veggies… all the food was disgusting. From the pizza and bruschetta all the way to the chicken and veggies. The entire meal was disgusting. Nothing like the masters I have had in the past years. Pricing was ridiculous for what was given and the fact that one the appetizers wasn’t even provided and the pasta wasn’t the proper pasta that was asked for, food was not good by any means and was served cold. Overall very disappointed Also got the run around for weeks in regards to the party for her to host it at a different location with Mastro’s servers and what not. Was overpriced for what was provided. Also lot of people got sick from the food that was provided. Myself included.
Made space for us at very short notice on a busy Saturday, best pasta we ever had and they even had a fantastic accordion player for entertainment, wish this place was closer to home!!

Old fashioned in the best way possible. Service is friendly and very accommodating. Food is traditional and excellent, with large portions and very reasonable prices.
Best Italian food in the area. Locals know this is the place to go for large family functions. They can accommodate parties of 10 to over 100 (they have a large lower level for bigger parties).
I've had an amazing time at this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service succeeded my expectations! My colleague introduced me to it and I must say it was a pleasant way to end my evening. Great for families and big groups! :)
