Jeff is not experienced in high level criminal charges. My son got into trouble and Jeff’s inexperience almost made it much worse. Within 2 days we changed to a different lawyer and what a difference. If you have a big criminal charge do not use Jeff. He may be ok for traffic violations but that’s about it. Trust me, if it’s big criminal charges find someone else with more experience who just won’t take your money. He can’t even probably prepare for a bail hearing. I see such a big difference now that I switched to a real criminal lawyer. Jeff will just leave it in the hands of a judge and then call and say oh I’m surprised that’s the way it went they just did that because of the media (excuse excuse) Only after he told another lawyer was hired and taking over did he quickly call to set a bail hearing for Monday for 30 mins to try and save face. Monday could never work because the bail hearing needed to be scheduled for 4 hours (a special bail) this is where his inexperience comes in because he only booked 30 mins. 2 things he told us both were wrong and I had to call him to find out the status, he did not call me. And then he made up a bogus excuse about administrative issues (excuse excuse). He also did not properly plan for surety and I had to offer the option to him about ankle monitor and parent supervision which he thought is excessive, yet that’s exactly the only reason the crown and judge would even consider bail. Don’t leave your loved ones faith in his hands. Thankfully after 2 days we switched. He took all the money and ran. He didn’t give us back any money. And laughed to our new lawyer and said well at least I got all the money for doing nothing, our new lawyer has it recorded.
I recommend Mr. Reisman to anyone who needs a criminal attorney. He is honest, hard working, and will fight to get the best result for you in your case. He is polite and nice and always respond to his calls and be there for u He is the lawyer u need to trust.
