I have been searching for a great spa to get my facials, as I am quite particular about the services they offer. Fortunately, MeSpa in Toronto is just a few blocks away from my home. I recently tried their summer promotion, and I would rate the experience a perfect 1000/10! I highly recommend it.
I had a consultation with Sojin. She is super friendly and explained every treatment they provide at their clinic in North York. She pointed out which treatment would work better for my skin condition and which one would target my concerns. Everything was explained in detail and clearly. I’m looking forward to my facial treatment and see the results. Super consigliato!
I'm new to Toronto and am very used to getting treatments in Korea and where I'm from Easr Asia. If you haven't lived or understand the East Asia life & culture, disregard this. I've personally had one of the best experiences as I wasn't sure how clinics here in T.O works. I wanted to tighten my neck a bit and of course, keep up with my treatments now that I've moved. I was told to do Picosure to resolve my neck issue and yes, they did recommend me to do a peeling and Rejuran or polynucleotide so of course that would cost more. I'm currently a student now that I live here so of course I'd like to save money too. To be honest, after doing my own research on ChatGPT, Google and asking my gfs who we used to do treatments in Seoul together, I understand why the combo. The goal is to get the best affect so that it's replaces the continuation process 10x. Yes, it's "ouchy" to pay more than you originally thought you'd want to fork out but I completely see why this combo exists or was needed for my skin. This is someone who does quarterly maintenance in Hong Kong, and flew to Korea 1x a year for treatments, I think I have enough experiences to tell whether someone is trying to help or grab my money. The discussions with my gfs helped too and everyone does everything (laser, rejuran, thermage, HiFu, etc...) Perhaps it's a cultural thing? For after care, they're the ones who had to keep asking me to go in for checks and send them photos. This tells me they do care a lot and those aftercare sessions were all free. If this was in HK, no friggin way.
Unethical upselling, poor hygiene, and zero regard for patient care. I went in for a Picosure laser consult but was talked into microneedling and an add-on aqua peel facial, totaling over $600, because they claimed my skin “wasn’t ready” for laser. I never asked for these treatments. Before the appointment, they had me text them all my skincare products for pre-treatment instructions, but actually gave no clear instructions on what to stop using. When I followed up for clarification, they refused to answer unless I booked another consult. At the appointment, they pressured me to pay upfront for multiple sessions or what they called a “package deal”. I also had to ask them to sanitize my face before microneedling — they claimed the facial had already “cleaned it,” which is unsafe and unhygienic. After the procedure, they told me I could only use their in-house products, without offering me any safe alternatives or proper aftercare guidance. It was buy and use their products or don’t use anything at all. This is not how reputable clinics operate. Furthermore, as I came home to do some research on ChatGPT on proper aftercare, I discovered that doing a full extraction and facial immediately before microneedling is not best practice, especially in reputable medical or dermal clinics because extractions create broken skin and open pores leaving skin vulnerable. Microneedling over these areas can push bacteria deeper into the dermis leading to further breakouts or worse, infection. I walked out. This place is a cash grab with no clinical integrity and dangerous practices with no concern for patient safety. Avoid.
I’ve been going to Me Spa With my wife for the past two months. We had the best massage and facial experience. We’ve had treatments in many different parts of the world but when it comes to their service, we just have to walk 10 minutes away from our house to get amazing service . Hannah and Sarah had provided me with the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. They have magical hands and I give them two thumbs up (5 star).
I‘be been their customer for around 14 years since the opening of the shop. At that time, I was only 25. I tried almost all different kinds of treatments, such as regular facial / body massage, Velvet, Vel DT, 24K gold, Gypsum, duel (which discontinued unfortunately), micro needling & Pico laser. Also, I used their skincare because my skin is sensitive to some other products. You may think it is too much for such a young age, but guess what? Believe it or not, my friends from school and coworkers think I’m still in mid-late 20s while I’m almost reaching 40.. I took my husband and school friends there as well for acne treatment, and trust me. Once you experience it, you can’t stop it!! Because you will really see the difference!! I strongly recommend if you are concerned of your skin beauty! No worries, if you are new. The experts will take care of your skin and give the right treatment!!
Saw Jasmine for a Snow White facial. It was absolutely amazing. The peel is the best feeling while coming off. The whole experience is amazing. Would definitely come back and come see jasmine
