Upon arrival, I mentioned my budget to the cashier, but she quickly brushed me off and said they only make bouquets starting at $59.99. I tried to explain that I was happy to have a smaller, simpler bouquet within the $30–$40 range for a friend who just lost her mother, but she told me to go to a grocery store instead because their flowers are expensive. What disappointed me most wasn’t just the price point but the way she said it — she was dismissive, condescending, and made me feel unwelcome for even asking. It’s unfortunate because I had such high expectations after my husband’s positive experience, but her attitude completely changed my impression of the shop.
We ordered an arrangement for my mum from FlowerDay - my parents are new to the neighbourhood, and FlowerDay had such positive reviews, so we decided to try them in our search for a local florist. My mum had a rough week with her health, and a brief hospitalization. We wanted to send her some flowers to brighten her day. Irises are her favourite flower, and we knew this arrangement would make her smile. The original delivery was a version of this, that did not have any irises in it at all, and a lot more green 'filler' and some pretty but lesser blooms. While we recognize photos are a representation, there were only 2 primary flowers in this arrangement: hydrangeas and irises. I got in touch with the shop - not angry or upset, just a little puzzled. I wished someone had contacted me ahead of delivery, about the lack of irises as I would have made an alternate choice. Shop manager, Soo, was incredibly kind and thoughtful - and very apologetic. They offered to make a replacement arrangement to be delivered the following day, and the new one was gorgeous. Soo sourced some irises, and it turned out stunning! My mum was thrilled, and because of Soo's outstanding customer service, FlowerDay has gained new customers who are now big fans! The flowers, too, really are lovely and fresh. My mum was impressed with the quality and freshness of both arrangements. Thank you to FlowerDay, and Soo, for helping lift my mum's spirits during a very challenging time. We are incredibly grateful!
Heard so many good things about this place for quite some time now and had gone here last week. This place is quite organized and time efficient. The florist is an amazing person and was very committed to providing me with a specific bouquet I needed. Job well done. Highly recommend this spot - excellent price for the quality of work!
My go to flower shop for all birthdays, celebrations, parties, and gifts! The flowers are super fresh and always last between 6-10 days with care. They’re super helpful and I’ve been coming here for years.
Extremely disappointed with this flower shop. I purchased 6 peonies for $70+ ($12.5 each peony) for my mother’s birthday and the peonies died without even opening. The peonies that were open when I purchased them died within 3 days of purchase even when I made sure to follow the care guide. Will not be purchasing here again. I contacted them after and they refuse to offer any amount of refund or replacement despite the pictures and proof of purchase shown.
