Came with my boyfriend for a Saturday visit with many things on our list of needs and we were so impressed with the stock and service here! I was looking for a helmet after many years away from the game, and my partner was on the hunt for a few elusive pieces of goalie equipment. Staff member Matt was super helpful, patient and knowledgeable. He helped me find a helmet that fit right and spent over an hour talking my boyfriend through all the different goalie equipment he was considering. They had nearly everything in stock that we were looking for (including some stuff that has been hard to find elsewhere) and provided a ton of helpful info. Well worth the drive from the core!
Got a custom pair of skates ordered to my very specific specs and couldn’t be happier. Was helped by Spencer and Bill to find my old information on skates from my old pair Lots of inventory of sticks , skates , protective equipment and accessories. If you’re in the North York area this is the best spot to buy hockey related anything. They also have a shooting pad and professional skate sharpening
i trust them with my sharpening, have always done well. Went in looking to try something on, no pressure to make the sale but was given very good insight into the product. They clearly know their inventory well.

Both the manager Bill and associate Luca took amazing care of my 11-year-old son and helped outfit him with all of his gear for the upcoming hockey season. The staff at Majer Hockey are extremely knowledgeable and could not be friendlier! We have been continuing to shop here for years simply because the service is exceptional as compared to other stores in Toronto.
Far from my house so....i never really went there that often. However, since my son is at Scotia Pond and Chesswood I've been popping by more often. Hand downs they have better discounts and loyalty incentives then other major retailers. Also, they are a bit more chill atmosphere than Just Hockey. I never had my sons skate sharpened there but I've never heard anything bad. Yeah overall a good positive experience in general.
These guys are the best. Especially Bill. Great knowledge about skates, took the time to make sure I got the best skates for me. Been a happy customer for 20 years now and always come back.
