Not a fan at all. After reading very good Google reviews and trusting the food is good. We ordered for a pick up the other night and the food was not great at all.
We googled "sushi" in the area and MISATO was a gem of a find. It was the perfect amount for a late night snack/meal for us. Beef tataki roll and orange dragon, so beautifully plated. Thank you, to the young lady who hosted us!
I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The food is consistently good, and the staff are always friendly and kind. I often order the bento boxes but sometimes I get some makizushi as well. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and it reminds me of a place I used to work at. You’re all wonderful. Thank you :)
Literal hidden gem,, this sushi place is so affordable and yummy consistently. Every roll is just so delicious I could probably eat their whole menu if I could it’s just so good even their sides are great. Worth every dollar omg.
I loved this place. My regular order was the chirashi because it was the best value for quality chirashi that I had found in the area for as long as I’ve lived here. If you like chirashi I recommend it. I try a lot of sushi places and rarely write reviews but this has been bothering me so much that I couldn’t not write one. It’ll be hard for me to go back to one of my fave places after an incident that happened a while ago. I had ordered a poke bowl because I wanted to try something new and it looked good. But when I got it, it was pretty spicy. I’m not sensitive to spice but it was sitting on the threshold of what I can handle and I was disappointed because I didn’t want a spicy dish at the time. I still powered through it (because I love sushi) but I had asked the server why it was spicy and they just kept telling me it wasn’t. I was with a friend and we figured it might be the sauce since he tried it and also found it spicy. I was worried that maybe there was something they hadn’t noticed and since it didn’t say spicy on the menu I thought I’d let them know. The server then seemed to get upset and started eating spoonfuls of the sauce like it was soup in front of our table trying to prove that it isn’t spicy saying she orders it all the time. She offered my friend a taste from the bowl she was eating from and he said “that’s gross” since the spoon came from her mouth and he doesn’t know her. She got offended saying he called her gross. I thought it was crazy that I as the customer was trying to mediate the situation into something more calm. I’ve been there multiple times, I bring family and friends there, at least one server recognized me, I ate it all (while coughing, sniffling, and tearing) and I still tipped because I’ve been a server and I just think it’s right. I had nothing to gain but instead I felt gaslit and attacked even after explaining my good intentions and apologizing for any misunderstanding. My friend thanked her for her service by her first name since it was on the receipt she gave us and the night ended in the rudest tone of “why do you know my name? I wanna know your name too.” Even if you didn’t think it was spicy maybe a “thanks for letting us know what you think, we’ll take it into consideration” would have worked better. Everyone has bad days and everyone gets frustrated at their job; but that nightmare definitely wasn’t the right way to handle it. If I do come back I’ll keep quiet in hopes that I don’t have to experience that again and I can still have my fave chirashi.
Pretty solid place. PSA for my fellow picky eaters; for the Philadelphia roll there is raw salmon inside the roll and smoked salmon is on top - the smoked salmon isn’t overpowering like other places, pretty solid. We also got the Deluxe Dream roll and pretty good, no complaints. Sushi rolls overall were bigger than expected so you definitely get your moneys worth. Service was also pleasant! Def a place to go if you’re looking for a lowkey spot!
This is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant! I have been coming here for over two years, and each time I got exceptional service and delicious food. The servers are very friendly and attentive, always give recommendations and accommodate when needed. Food is always fresh and yummy. Definitely highly recommend!
