Ana did my makeup and hair trial recently for my wedding and I used the trial because she suggested to use for a photoshoot and I had mentioned to her ahead of time what time to leave by and where I will have my trial with her (Scarborough) and where the photoshoot is (downtown, Casa Loma) and what time she will arrive (which was for my Engagement/Save the Date Photoshoot at Casa Loma Castle). We were supposed to leave at 9am to reach for our booking time that we paid for/booked with Casa Loma way in advance (10am to 12pm). My photographers were already on site around 9am. Ana and I had 2 virtuals to talk about how I wanted my hair and makeup done and I provided her inspiration photos ahead of time. Ana was friendly and easy to talk to. The products she used were good and she had all of her equipment with her and ready. My hair was stunning and it held up perfectly. My makeup was good and she was very skillful, but I felt like I wanted eyeliner to define my eyes more (which I ended up putting eyeliner on myself) and contour my face a bit more. Unfortunately, on the day of trial and my photoshoot she was over 30 minutes late arrival. She was supposed to arrive 6:30am but arrived 7:10am. She did not feel well which was understandable, but it would have been nice if she could have rescheduled for a different day so I could figure out to do my own makeup and hair for the photoshoot and arrive on time. I was up at 5am getting ready before she arrived because the agreement was 6:30am and made sure to eat breakfast. I also paid for an early working fee of $55.00. Ana finished the trial after 9:30am and we were late for our photoshoot. Luckily, Casa Loma was able to accommodate our late arrival.
LOVED working with Anaibys! She did such a lovely job with my makeup, I wish i lived in Toronto so I could use her services more often. Highly recommend!
