Stagecoach has been an essential part of our family’s activities for many years now. The staff are talented, warm, and thoughtful. The program is focused on providing children with the tools to walk (and sing and dance) confidently through the world!
Wang Li Music School is absolutely fantastic! The instructors are super talented, patient, and passionate about teaching — especially when it comes to drums. They really take the time to make sure each student understands the techniques and improves at their own pace. The lessons are fun, motivating, and full of positive energy.
I am writing this brief note to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Sarah as the Director of Willowdale School of Music, and my deep appreciation to Mr. Rylan Philip for his role as Vindhyaa’s teacher. It was indeed a proud moment for us to see her perform for the second time in her recital lately. Such recitals are important for students; they not only showcase their progress but also build the confidence to share their craft in front of an audience. A thoughtful initiative indeed. While we may speak highly of the student, I would rather keep my highest regard for the teacher, who shows us the direction in all walks of life. From teaching us the pincer grip to write our first alphabet, to guiding our fingers as we press the first key on a piano, their influence is everlasting. Vindhyaa began her piano journey with Mr. Matthew at WSM and is now in the able hands of Mr. Rylan. His calm composure is truly infectious, and the impact of his teaching was visible during the recital. I hope she continues to enjoy her musical journey with even greater rigor, and her love for music continues to shine through in every note. My best wishes to you and everyone at WSM.
As relative newcomers to Willowdale School of Music, we are so happy to have found you. Our 14 year-old son has been taking guitar lessons with Adrien and absolutely loves it. Adrien has such a positive personality and is so encouraging as a teacher. He also provides lesson plans for at-home practice and sends us progress reports which have been really helpful. Our son loves playing the guitar and practices willingly. Thanks to everyone at WSM, especially Adrien, for the fantastic experience.
If someone worry about which violin school is good one for their kids. Please just go taking a trial lesson at Willowdale School of Music first! My daughter has learned a violin less than 1 year in Japan, but she seemed to be very nervous and get wet with her hands, even the teacher was not strict. I just think some kids need learning it little by little. The school I could feel it is The Willowdale School of Music. Sara who is a violin teacher and director as well is amazing and grasp how to enjoy playing it with teaching skill. Now my daughter never get wet with her hands even she plays it in front of people. She seems to have some confident and joyful with music!
I'm an adult beginner learning the violin, and have been learning from Sarah for about five months now. I'm glad to have found her. She's a gifted teacher! Sarah is very knowledgeable, uses analogies and looks for fun tips and tricks to help you learn, and it's obvious that she is committed to her students' learning. She's funny, and makes me laugh every lesson. :) She is thorough and has high standards, which I appreciate, but she also makes learning enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a violin or a viola teacher for your child or for yourself. I highly recommend Sarah be that teacher. :)
