Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I was in the store to test some models without an appointment and he made me feel welcome while showing me the features of a variety of models. I would recommend this store!
Amazing chair selections here at Workspace. Mitchell, Elissa, Michael and Bruce were amazing from start to finish. I highly recommend them and the impeccable service they provide!
The owner Mitchell Cohen is INCREDIBLY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. It was beyond bad customer service. Long story short, I requested a replacement for faulty chair wheels that were sold to us and he spoke PROFANITY at me and called me “CRAZY”. I went into the store with my partner a few weeks ago to buy a Herman Miller Embody chair. Mitch assisted us and initially seemed excited to show us the chairs but quickly became impatient (tone of voice, sighing loudly, annoyed facial expressions) when we asked about the cost of various customizations, given that there are many different customization options available. We wanted to customize our chair with clear wheels so he took off the existing wheels on the product and replaced it with clear wheels that had some wear and tear. We noticed this but took it anyway because we were not too picky about if it looked not new. However, after we set the chair up at home, the wheels DID NOT TURN PROPERLY which made rolling around difficult (chair does not go in the intended direction). I obviously cannot say for certain that Mitch sold these to us knowingly but I would have to assume that he is aware of the quality of his inventory. We contacted the store to request a replacement because the wheels were used and do not function as intended. Mitch was on the phone and kept insisting that “they are not used”, but they were so clearly scratched up and do not roll properly. Somewhere in the conversation he let slip that “they were not used, they were on a floor model”. So, congratulations on getting away with giving us “used” wheels on a technicality. In the end he agreed to let us replace the wheels so we just let it slide. When the wheels arrived, I called to ask if we can pick up the wheels after work at 6PM and instead of telling me that the store is not open at that time and suggesting alternative times, he SARCASTICALLY said “Well, I'm not at the store at 6PM, so do you want to come to my house??” (clearly sarcastic and not actually asking us to go to his house to pick up the product) Was that attitude necessary? I ignored his remark and asked if there would be a better time and I decided I will step away from work for an hour the next day to pick up the wheels. Today, I went to the store to exchange the wheels and I showed him how the wheels did not turn and to anyone with eyes, they CLEARLY DID NOT TURN. The other employee who worked at the receptionist desk saw and agreed with me that they did not turn. When showing the wheels and how they get stuck to Mitch he said “They look the same [as the good wheels] to me”. Mitch, are you really going to try to GASLIGHT me or do you not understand what a working chair wheel should look like? I told him again that the chair does not work properly with these wheels and he just said “BULLS/HIT BUT WHATEVER I'll exchange the wheels” and he gave me the new wheels. And the cherry on top was as I was leaving the store, he loudly called me “CRAZY”. I was not planning to leave a negative review despite dealing with Mitch’s attitude on multiple interactions because we got the faulty wheels replaced and now have a nice working chair. However, looking back on the entire experience, I think this highlights a concerning pattern of behavior. Is this any way to treat a customer, let alone another human being? At least have the professionalism to say these things behind the customer’s back. You can have a bad day but don’t take it out on others. -- I am reposting the above review from last week because the business flagged it and it was removed. Instead of taking responsibility for the behaviour that the owner of the store displayed, they tried to hide what happened. Maybe instead of trying to delete my review again, do better in the future and treat all your customers with respect.
0 Stars. When asked for a price Michael would only provide a price if i would tell him the other quotes i had received. Regardless of what others charge you should know your price. This is not how you operate a business. Response to answer: I will never support a business with such poor practices. You were provided an opportunity to be competitive but chose to not provide a price and therefore chose to not be in competition. If looking to offer the best service possible, I truly suggest you amend your practices and the interaction style with your potential customers as it was atrocious. Further edit: to anybody interested, when I had my bad experience I contacted Herman Miller directly. They advised this was not the first time that they have recieved complaints about them. I would suggest providing Herman Miller with information regarding your situation as they appreciated the information. Lastly, go to business interiors and speak to Jeff Osborne, he'll be very competitive and much MUCH more pleasant to deal with.
Very helpful people and have a great dog! I tried out several of the Herman Miller chairs and purchased the Embody which was delivered on time. Very happy with my purchase!
we bought our Herman Miller Aeron Chair through the WSG retail branch almost twelve years ago. Recently, we needed a seat repair and contacted WSG. Ever so pleased to find out that HM warrants the Aeron for 12 years! Shelley was a terrific in facilitating our warranty repair. Not likely to buy another chair as we are seniors but I recommend WSG and its friendly helpful staff. Thank you Shelley and Michael!
They are very friendly and the furniture is beautiful. Great price have done business with them for 3 years and all super hi quality. Some of the pieces have gone up in value as well so great investment to buy quality designer product to make your workspace look great!
