UPDATE: the owner replied to my review but has me mistaken for someone else lol. I have only been to the plaza once during non-busy hours, where the lady was yelling at the few people in the food court. There is a lady who works here that many other reviews seem to mention - she is extremely rude and will yell at random people in an empty food court if you don’t buy from her stall. Because of her sour attitude and her history of harassing other patrons, I would avoid this store.
I saw amazing reviews and tried the food and got tasteless dry kebabs and rice without butter and salt. I would suggest try one dish here first before ordering it in quantity or for special occasion. Highly Disappointed.
My new favourite spot for shawarma. Rose is kind and her food is the most amazing I’ve had in a while. I can tell she places utmost care into preparation and presentation—the quality is giving. For over a decade I had different types of shawarmas from all over the GTA—hers’ is one the top/ best hands down. I’m usually there late and if she steps out, I call her and she picks up immediately and steps in. The area used to look sketchy to me so I avoided it. I wish I found Rose sooner.
When I was in Toronto, it was one of the best and tastiest kebabs that I ate, a combination of a restaurant and home food. The kind attitude of the restaurant owner was pleasant. It was a very good experience. Thank you Rose Kebab. I will come back again for your delicious food.
One of the most unprofessional restaurant I have come across so far. We visited donmills food court with kids, because it's usually less crowded and safe for kids to walk around freely in a safe and monitored environment. Until today we had really great experience visiting this food court. We had enjoyed food at simbas, chachu's, savoury samosas, etc. All that good vibe was ruined by Rose Kebab's unprofessional and unwelcoming behaviours today. One thing I noticed is that this restaurant is always empty during our visits (most likely no one seems to like their food as well). But regardless of how their food taste, I will never give them my business because of their unprofessional customer service. The owner of this restaurant is either racist (i have strong feeling) or doesn't appare to be kids friendly or both. While we were minding our own business she appeared out of no where and started complaining that kids should not be having fun in public food-court. If they scream or like to walk around then they should be visiting playground in -9 degrees celsius. According to her our kids were screaming and disturbing other guests (none of them brought anything from her. Look at the picture how empty the food court was). So we asked her if anyone has complaint to her or not. She couldn't answer and kept complaining how three kids between 2-5 years old ruined the entire public atmosphere of this food court. I would like to discourage everyone to visit this restaurant as they shouldn't be running their business in public with such attitude towards kids/customers.
I have been a regular customer for the past 2 years. The owner has been very friendly and the food has been excellent with fresh ingredients. I usually get the shawarma plate.
Wow. Amazingly fresh and delicious even though it was late and near closing time. The lady who worked there was so nice. 11/10 Came back, just as good and fresh as I remembered.
