I’m very happy with this pet shop. The store is well stocked with many different pet supplies, and the grooming staff is very careful and experienced. Prices are reasonable, and the overall service is consistently great.

Cat Developed Severe Ringworm After Grooming I want to warn everyone about a pet store in Toronto. I found it through a recommendation from a friend’s WeChat Moments post. I drove all the way from Hamilton to this pet store in Toronto to get my two cats bathed and groomed. One of my cats (let’s call it Cat A) ended up with severe ringworm after the visit. The other cat (Cat B) also developed some symptoms. I’ve included chat logs with the store from pages 5 to 9. Timeline: • July 2: Took both cats to the pet store for bathing. • July 17: Discovered some small scabs on Cat A. • July 19: After using a UV light, I found large patches of ringworm on Cat A’s body. I contacted the store. Their reply: “No other customers’ cats have had this issue.” They claimed it might be due to my cat’s poor immunity—not their problem. • July 20: After shaving Cat A’s fur, I saw obvious ringworm patches on the ears, front chest, front legs, and tail base. The outbreaks looked extensive and serious. I’m confident the problem occurred during their grooming process—not due to my cat’s health. ⸻ ❗️Additional Info: • Cat A is the only one with severe ringworm. • It’s just over a year old and has never had any issues at home. • It was the more outgoing and less fearful cat of the two. • Even during vet visits or injections, it doesn’t freak out. • The store admitted my cat peed out of fear during grooming, yet they continued. • I suspect improper handling, incomplete drying, or failure to disinfect properly during the process. ⸻ ⚠️ More Details: • The store recommended using a bubble bath for the cats. • On the second visit, I even messaged the store asking if my cat had any ear mites or issues after the bath—they said no. Later, when my cat got sick, a friend told me that this store used to operate in Etobicoke and shut down because of too many complaints. Someone else’s kitten even bled during grooming. The store’s usual response: “The cat resisted too much.”
Absolutely terrible experience. The staff at the front desk were incredibly unprofessional and had difficulty communicating in English. I had to guess what they were saying most of the time. They didn't have the Vital Essential Freeze Dried Rabbit Entry I needed for my cats, which was fine, but when I asked about alternatives or nearby stores, they were completely unhelpful. I even asked if there were any larger pet stores nearby like PetSmart or PetValue, and they just ignored me. It's clear that they don't care about local customers, especially those who don't speak their language. I left my phone number for the manager to call back about grooming appointment for my cats, but it's been over two weeks and I still haven't heard anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
