The studio is well equipped, but I had a very bad experience with someone I think was the studio owner. I wanted passport photos, he took the pictures, printed and told me it's $15, I said can you print me 2 more copies, he said its another $15, I said can I pay $5 since you won't go through the whole process again, it is only printing. He said no. That was enough, but he went completely nuts, he grabbed the photos from me and ordered me to leave the studio, he threw a tantrum, he said you disrespected me, Chinese, Hispanic etc. don't do that to their kind blah blah. I said I tried to negotiate but if that offended you I am sorry just give me my photos. He said no, leave, leave, leave. He became spitting-mad, he was spitting all over the place. All these just for asking a lower price for the extra print, and NO was more than enough. And just to be fair, his studio is the best in the area, with very good lighting and equipment, but I don't know what was wrong with that guy. And if multiple people work in the studio, my comment is directed at the black, middle aged man and not the whole studio.
Working with Noel was such a seamless and rewarding experience. I’ve worked with other photographers before, but I’ve never had an experience so fun, vibrant, and confidence-boosting. This was my very first in-person event as press with my podcast, and before we even arrived, Noel was the person I called for encouragement. He reassured me that I would be great — and he was right. Very professional, and easy to work with. He gave great ideas for the novice poser. I enjoyed the service so much that I booked another appointment by the end of our first shoot.
The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. We booked a maternity/family photoshoot today with my 3 year old son and the photographer didn’t show up. We had reconfirmed the appointment the night before. We drove 45 minutes in the rain with our toddler to have our photos taken (and I’m 6 months pregnant) and he took zero accountability. We called him 10 times, and when he finally decided to pick up, he told us he was in Oshawa! Didn’t have the decency to tell us in advance that he couldn’t make it. Awful person, awful experience.
I was happy with my experience, which is why I give him a 5-star. Make sure to bring someone with you as they can help provide feedback on how you are posing! I am waiting on my photos to come, but I am sure they will be all right. I am not the prettiest girl, so he can’t work miracles lol!
Don't go to this photographer, COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I booked an appointed, showed up on time, but the photographer had some girl he was still taking photos with during my time. I needed a grad picture taken, I asked him if he knew how to tie a tie (he did, but he lied and said no in order to rush me out the door), he then spent less than 15 mins taking a few snaps of me, rushed me out the door, I still paid full price, and he went onto continue taking photos with the girl that was still there during my session time.
The guy was sick and still opened the store. Nice for sure. :-) only reason it did not get five stars is because Diva ring light was on sale. I got it and brought it home. Opened it and it wasn't Diva... but I got lots of good stuff at a reasonable price! :-)
