Very bad experience with this source for sports retailer. Cancelled my order with no explanation and no attempt to assist me further, leaving me scrambling before Christmas. Also did not reply to my request for further assistance. Do not attempt to support local with this store or you will regret it. You’re better off to purchase straight from the company (ie. Bauer in my case) and actually get the item you want and assistance you need.
I ordered the previous year's model of the top of the line chest and arms for a senior goalie which Just Hockey had advertised on sale. A week later they cancelled my order. They no longer had it. They later offered me a very good alternative at the same price. It took some patience but in the end I am a very happy customer.
I've been here three times and it's fairly out of my way. I've heard good things but when I come in, I can't seem to buy anything. They've got either nobody at the skate area or they're tied up with a 10-year-old trying on every skate and never making a decision. Can I suggest that you just make the scanner self-serve and/or put all of your stock out on the floor? It's great that you have personalized service but it's frustrating that I've never been able to take advantage of that or just grab a few, try them on and narrow down some options before somebody can assist to firm up the sale.

Skate repairs here are great! Getting the wrong fit insoles for skates (wasn’t fitted at all actually, employee just plucked a set of SuperFeet off the wall) isn’t great. What is even worse is the cashier being extremely cold when I went back. Didn’t even want to hear the issue, it was like they were in a rush to refund me. I was going to fit myself for another set and pick up a new stick when I returned these but decided giving my business to another store was a much better option.
I want to give 5 stars to Earl who helped us to buy all hockey equipments. He made a good effort to find the right fit to my husband. I really appreciate it. However, this store needs to change your cashier if you want to continue your good business. Everyone can do mistakes and the lady who has red hair, also did a mistake when she cashed out. After we realized $113 was overcharged, she made a refund. Until here, everything was okay. When we got home, we realized she only made a refund of $100. I called to the store and she said 'come back to get $13' without any apology. We went there again and had to get a refund again. What a good experience huh? Her customer service was tragic.
Dave and Dana helped me with the entire process of buying custom skates. Man, these guys know their stuff. Dana's very relaxed and personable and provided highly informative product info. I'm only buying skates from these guys from now on.
