If you ever come to this centre, I highly recommend asking for Coach Abduraman. He is incredibly patient, kind, and fair but even those words don’t fully capture how special he truly is. Despite his young age and appearance, believe me, you will be surprised by how knowledgeable, patient, and very very very very wise he is. He treats every child with care and respect, encourages them equally, and creates an environment where they feel confident and excited to grow. My child always looks forward to practice and games, and a big part of that joy comes from Coach Abduraman’s energy and support. Thank you so much Azzurri for always bringing in amazing coaches. People like him are rare to find and truly make all the difference.
Coach Abdal ( Abdalrahman Rashad) has truly made a lasting impact on my son. He would always come home excited, full of stories about how practice went, what Coach Abdal said, and how much fun he had. That joy and confidence stayed with him even after the sessions ended. When Coach Abdal left, my son was honestly heartbroken because he really got attached. That says a lot about how much care and encouragement Coach Abdal puts into his coaching. He’s not only amazing with the kids, always uplifting and bringing out the best in them, but also so kind and respectful toward the parents. He even encouraged me personally, and that meant a lot. He is a very young, energetic, and dedicated coach who makes everyone around him feel seen and valued. Thank you Azzurri for hiring people like him. People like him make a difference in the world.
Coach Abdul is such a great coach, kind, welcoming, and always making sure everyone feels included and gets a chance to shine. He even gives out snacks after games and practices! One of the best coaches ever, and we’re so sad he’s leaving for a month.
This place is bigger than we'd have ever expected. So much real estate for practice, very little for parking. BUT, there's lots of parking close by on the churches parking lot. There's permission, so there's no worries there at all. Fun coaches, and well maintained grass fields. I'm just not so impressed when coaches show up late for practice AND the fact that ( with so many soccer fields ) it's never clear as to which field your kid is expected to be. For example, team 1 will be on field B. But B can be on any of these fields on different days.. Not to mention, there might be two Bs. So you located B then notice there's another, soooo which of these Bs is your kid expected to be on.. other than that, we love this place and will continue to come here, providing the kid still has interest, which i hope.
Toronto Azzurri is an amazing club with a real family vibe! The coaches care about player development and push you to be your best on and off the field. The environment is super supportive and competitive at the same time. Great teammates, good facilities, and a club that represents passion for the game. If you're a player who wants to improve, work hard, and be part of a soccer community, this is the place for you. Proud to play here and represent the club!
I took my granddaughters here for a day camp that i had won through Kisko Freezies.The instructors were very good at what they did .My girls had a lot of fun .
