I haven't been with ABL for long but everyone I have talked to over the phone has been very nice and helpful. For being in a different city then where I am working hasn't been an issue with the ability to call throughout the day and if you leave a message they will call back which is a nice change of pace for me. Within the first few days of employment I had a placement/assignment to interview for and started working the following day. My time so far at the placement has been a very welcoming and understanding experience.
I was asked to contact the North York Office by the ABL Mississauga/Brampton office regarding jobs in Vaughan.. I call ABL Brampton to let them know them know that I get an AI message when I called the phone at the North York office.. this super rude woman picks up the phone..while I'm speaking to her very politely and mentioning that I'm interested in a job posted by ABL and located in Vaughan..a Windows and Doors Manufacturing job.. She starts telling me we can't move forward with u at this time because u have been very rude..when in fact I've been absolutely polite and just inquiring abt the job like everybody else.. Go with another Temp Agency..
I've been applying for jobs on their site for a long time. They called me once to talk about an opportunity, and since then they have never bothered to return anything. I didn't think it would be this difficult just to find a simple general labor job. I had better luck with Adecco's employment agency.
We were very impressed with ABL Employment. This is the 2nd time that we have used them for short-term help and both times, they provided workers that were professional and reasonably productive. We were particularly impressed that ABL provided a project manager, Mike, to oversee our project. This was not expected for a small project but was greatly appreciated. Mike did a great job and made our job easier. He handled all of the recruiting in the background and arranged to have the required number of workers, replacing individuals as some dropped out and making sure that all were safety certified. He met and gathered the workers at each location to start the shift and gave them a brief orientation and made sure that they were ready. He quickly acted when 3 canceled last minute and sourced replacements within a few hours. We expect to have a lot of similar and possibly longer projects in 2024 and will be calling PJ at ABL first for help and will be confident that they will provide what they commit to.
