One of the worst and disgusting convenience stores and vape shop, come here for dead vapes and expired snacks, and the most shit customers service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND going elsewhere
I live in the nieghbourhood and like to support neighbourhood shops. The store over the years had some friendly shop keepers, but the new woman working there is very loud and very rude. I was just finding change to pay what I was buying, and she put the coins in the register before I got the exact change. I asked her not to put the coins away before I got the exact amount (to avoid misunderstanding, see Doyoung Park's comment below), and she started shouting at me. What's ridiculous is that she told me to not be "so loud, there are other customers". I know I have a small voice because people frequently ask me to speak up. So, I told her "I'm not as loud as you are." She then said: "If you don't want it, put it back." So I said: "I don't mind buying this somewhere else." To the owner: If you don't fire this woman, she'll fire all your long-time customers.
The store is very convenient for me as I don’t have a car and with my two kids I can easily walk here and get the some snacks. Alright I wish the were a bigger store and had more things. The guys that work there are very friendly too, when my kids come they start touching everything when they are picking something to buy but the staff is always super nice.
Go to the nearest Dollar Tree (at Eglinton and Warden) to buy the same for 50%+ less. Also, in the province of Ontario, the lowest posted price prevails - and at this store, they post $2.49 and then charge $2.99 at cash register. Verdict - go to Dollar Tree, or dollar store across from Eglinton Square, or dollar store at Don Mills plaza that is substantially south of Eglinton. You will get 50%+ lower prices and much better selection.
when you use credit card or debit card, you must check your receipt. they never ask you receipt, and they charge more and when you come back and complain, they will say ' i don't remember'. my case, it takes only less than 5 mins, and i have a phone connection with card. however, they say they do not remember so i show my phone and what did i buy. please be careful with using a cards.
Not impressed. Over a decade a Loyal customer, but Last week when I was helping a woman in with her Walker the door didn't have a proper broken sign and it wacked my back and the man that runs the store saw the look on my face when it happened. He didn't even Ask me if it was all right ...... Some pilon that's always there to keep the air flow through if they don't have the air on so whose fault is it. I came back a few days later to tell one of the employees and the man ahead of me his lottery ticket being $4 more was more important.
