We were looking for an affordable replacement for my mother's refrigerator that stopped working and I'm glad we discovered Express Used Appliances. We were able to find something affordable and similar to the fridge that she had. The delivery and set up went very smoothly and I was happy that they were able to take the old fridge away.
They have a good selection of used products. Bought a dryer, paid the full amount by e-transfer. They price matched after I found a cheaper option and made everything right.
This is a much bigger operation than I thought. They have a full staff tending phones for national (US and CAN) service calls, and used appliances are a sister company to it. Super easy, found a matching dryer for my current washer, saved 700 bucks by not having to buy a new one that didn't match, or worse, replace both when all I needed was a dryer. Will probably only buy appliances here going forward, so so so much cheaper when you don't need monthly payments
Worst Experience Ever Stay Away! I bought couple of appliances in February, including a dryer that broke down soon after. Despite purchasing a warranty, every repair took months! The first two times, they blamed a clogged dryer vent, claiming it was our fault—ridiculous, given it's a newly built home. Ended up I spent $200 to hire a professional vent cleaning service, and found the vent was totally clear. I provided the photos and receipt as proof already, while for this third time broken they are still saying clogged vent is the reason In November, the dryer broke for the third time—just two months after the last repair and after using it only 4 times. I requested a return and partial refund, and they only offered store credit. who do you think would ever come back? I asked to talk to manager, then never contacted me again. Now, the dryer is just junk in my garage. The entire process has been a scam. Avoid this company at all costs! my profile is under name yanpan. ---- After 2 months, finally get to speak to someone again. But stop offering me store credit, which I have already rejected since Nov last year. And no replacement because based on my previous experience, product will keep having issues, and they will continue to shift the blame instead of taking responsibility. Their technitian told me the issue was my clogged dryer vent, but after I proved that this was not true, now they are saying it could be problem with my house... I do not want to go through this frustrating back and forth ever again. All I am asking for is to return the dryer myself and get a refund!!
