I first entered Paula’s Wigs 4 years ago. Paula herself took care of my appointment and I am forever grateful. I was impressed with her expertise and knowledge. She made me feel very comfortable and once I told her what I was looking for…she came back with the perfect piece. It only took one. Her experience is invaluable. I have since acquired my second wig and like today, return often to have my wigs washed and conditioned. I would not hesitate to recommend the Toronto location to family and friends.

They are scammers. I ordered a wig in February and was told I would receive it in one to two weeks and it’s now August and I still don’t have the wig I ordered. I ordered a curly wig in blonde. I was wearing a blonde wig and she insisted the color was standard and I would have no problem getting the curly wig in that color. I paid 5000.00 usd. I did not buy a cheap wig. I get the first wig. Omg it was not the same wig I saw in the showroom. It was too small and the color was a orangey blonde. Leah ( owner) explains there was a problem but no worries- return the wig and we will take care of the problem. Second wig , another disaster- this one was shorter in the back and long in front. The front was wavey but not curly like the back and the color again was not what I ordered. I sent her pictures to compare the two wigs, so she can clearly see it’s not even close to the color of my wig. I don’t even remember her excuses but she insisted that I would get my wig for my niece’s shower. The third wig delivered is awful. It’s over processed. The color is not even all over. The root is dark and the blonde has red undertones. Not what I ordered. What does Leah do next She leaves the chat and refuses to call me back. She’s let’s Daniella answer and she offers me a repair I paid 5000 for a curly wig and you are not offering me anything to fix my problem. It’s hard enough having to deal with hair loss but to deal with people who don’t care enough to call me back or come to some agreement. I really can’t afford to lose 5000.00. I brought the wig to several places to see if they could fix the color and not one person thinks they can fix it. I begged them to give me another wig and I would find someone to dye it or give me a straight wig and some money back because a straight wig is not 5000.00. They refuse to talk to me. I should have checked their reviews. Please do not pay unless you see the wig. Leah was so kind and never expected her to screw me over. I actually thought because we were both Canadian and she had three locations that they would never do something like this. I’m dealing with health issues and I didn’t need this too. I have cried, begged and pleaded with them and I get dead silence on the other end. So now I will seek legal help and will try my best to warn everyone about them. I’m hoping ctv news or global gets back to me soon. If they can do it to someone with health issues they can do it to anyone.
The staff here made me feel very comfortable. Wigs are very high quality and can be customized to your liking. I would like to extend an applause to Roya (the colourist) who was able to achieve the perfect colour and tone for my wig!
In 2015 I was first diagnosed with Alopecia as a fourteen year old girl that had just entered high school. Paula’s wig boutique was able to make me a beautiful wig that I have worn for over three years and I have just gotten a second, amazing piece. On top of getting a second wig, I also got a wig that can be put up into a high ponytail/bun which is one of the things I miss the most about having hair which Paula had thought of me and suggested to me. Paula is an extremely kind person that cares about everyone that enters her boutique and her, as well as all the staff have always made me feel welcome and happy whenever I come visit for a tune up on my wig. I would recommend Paula’s wig boutique to all ages, as everyone there works extremely hard to make your wig your own and make sure it’s perfect for you. Being a teenager and having to go wig shopping because of alopecia was hard in the beginning, but because of Paula’s wig boutique I have been able to continue to do the things I enjoy, like playing competitive volleyball which has been really important to me. Even though I have become more confident in my alopecia, I still wear my wig to school every day and receive compliments from all ages on my hair.
