Stay far away from Dr Vent. The owner David is unprofessional, unresponsive and unreliable. David hardly picks up phone calls nor reads text messages or unresponsive to phone messages. In speaking g to David a few days ago David agreed to remove, clean, sanitize a bird nest and replace vent. Plus replace a second vent. We both agreed and confirmed appointment September 11 2023 at 3 PM Shortly after speaking to David I sent a text to remind and confirm this appointment for Septrmber 11th 2023 at 3PM. In the text message I clearly articulated if David is running late to keep me updated. David never responded to this text message. Not even a thumbs up to say okay. I found it quite odd. But trusted all will run smoothly. September 11th 2023 at noon I spoke to David to confirm our appointment at 3PM. I even offered the option for David to come at 4PM. David was not able to accommodate 4PM. But assured he would be at my home for 3PM. David never showed for 3PM. Strange? At 4:15 PM, I attempted to call David, the cell was off as it went straight into voice mail. Left a message asking David's whereabouts and when to expect him. It is now almost 8PM. In between 4:15 PM and 7:30 PM, I made several phone calls and left voice messages. Out of frustration, I also wrote a text message close to David at 7:30 PM for not showing up as promised, lack communication, unresponsive to my several voice messages, poor customer service and overall unprofessionalism. As mentioned earlier, it is interesting how small business like Dr. Vent does NOT operate under the mindset or values the customer's positive experience and quality service. This should be Dr. Vent's number one priority. But from my experience this absolutely is not the case. The accurate rating for Dr. Vent is ZERO out of 5.
I had Dr Vent over last week bc my dryer kept shutting down. I kept getting an error code telling me that the duct was 90% blocked. He cleaned out the vent and duct and checked my duct behind the dryer and found the issue. It wasn't installed properly. I would definitely recommend his services. He showed up on time, nice to speak with, professional and knew what he was doing and best of all, resolved the issue. He even taught me about some modes on my dryer. Thank you Dr Vent.
Dr. Vent was quick efficient and on the ball, smart troubleshooter, honest and best of all very reasonably priced, what more can you ask for when looking for the right Dryer vent cleaner!
