Updated review: I gave a low review as the product I bid on was different than the one I received. The owner immediately contacted me and worked through a satisfying resolution, apologizing for the mix up. He has integrity and I would not hesitate to deal with Royal Estates again.
Recently won some jewelry in an auction. When I received the items one ring was tagged moissanite. I did not bid on a moissanite ring, I bid on a lab created Diamond ring. Lab created diamonds and moissanite are not the same. I emailed the company and they have not responded. I want them to make this right. Descriptions need to be real and the items you win need to match the description. There's no excuse. If I can do some research and know that a lab created Diamond is still a Diamond and moissanite is not a Diamond then they should certainly know this as well. How many emails will I have to send for them to make this right?

Great auction house. Comparatively better with shipping and easier to use at a flat rate of $10. Many others on HiBid (Encore, Ruito, etc) can be a bit of a scam or hard to work with, so this company deserves praise. VERY cool stuff for sale too. I won some old coins from the days of the Roman Empire and happy with their quality and packaging :)
I recently won a 36" x 18" x 72" steel 2-dr storage cabinet from the auction house and today I went to pick up my item in Brampton, ON. The check-in girls were very nice, friendly and efficient having everything in order. I started following one of them to look for my cabinet but she was intercepted by Sean, who was in charge of this auction. We went to where the cabinet was supposed to be, but it had been apparently moved. Sean and I traversed all 3 floors and the basement of this very large senior residence that was being decommissioned and we just could not find my cabinet. Except for one similar cabinet with some minor damage on it, all the other 6 plus cabinets appeared to have disappeared - someone else had scooped them up!!! In the end, Sean refunded my auction payment, gave me the slightly damaged cabinet we did find, and threw in a slightly smaller Suncast 2-door resin storage cabinet that didn't seem to be in the auction lots, as a "consolation" for the trouble. We must have spent two hours going through the building floors and a few times got misdirected in some of the wings!!! And he certainly didn't have to do it either! But he did, and he even moved the two cabinets to my car to load! Golly, gosh darn, but talk about dedicated service! Sean had it in SPADES ♥ Thank you all for the excellent experience and best resolving my issue, even to your loss. I will look forward to bidding in another auction knowing without a doubt that this company's customer service is beyond top notch!!!
Reposting review because business somehow managed to get it removed--no wonder the high ratings. Very poor customer service, the lady who answered the phone was also very rude. Some (better) auctions accept returns of "AS IS" items, so I emailed asking if an item, listed as working but was broken, could be returned. Business explicitly told me via email I could return the product. A week AFTER I returned it, business then changed their mind and told me I could not receive a refund. Refused to own up to their mistake and rudely claimed it was my fault for not reading (note the hypocrisy) and then proceeded to ban me from their auction, all over $3. Avoid, there are much better auctions in Toronto
Customer service was amazing. Had bought earbuds that I didn't use for weeks. When I did turn them on, the left one was not working. Tried several things online but couldn't get it to work. Sent an Email telling them the situation and they replaced my earbuds "or earbud" ....and shipped without charging me. Will certainly buy from them again.
