Took my sedan in for an emergency only for my regular mechanic to tell me i paid for unnecessary replacements. Did some research and found out he was right. Don’t go here.
Definitely a range of one and 5 stars here. Ill be the middle review and explain why. Syed is a very kind person and i can see that he juggles a lot. Vehicle safety is probably one of the things that attracts people in, but also generates additional revenue for his business. But lets be honest here, Canadian tire, or any other mechanic shop will do the exact same and Syed's prices are good. However, just like other reviewers have commented, i was also told i need new front pads and rotors when i had my personal mechanic remove and measure the pad thickness and verify the pads are within the safe zone. To be honest i only came here for the cheap safety. After pushing back a little, we settled on changing the front pads only and removing some surface rust from the rotors so that the photos taken would look pretty for the ministry. I will say, that i expected the old paper style safety but its all digital now and that must mean there are minimum criteria that can't be fudged especially with the data being photo based and reported to the ministry. He has a reputation to uphold and seems to be trying to build a good rapport with the ministry. that's respectable. My final reason for the 3 stars is that this establishment needs a front desk person, or someone to field calls they cant work and be on the phone with customers. this drags out too much wasted time. The manager can also be more realistic with their estimates on timing for customers. i was there for 3 hours to change 2 front pads. Syed did sand down and shine up my 2 front rotors to remove as much rust as possible, (at his own cost which was nice. Thanks again) I just don't think that was necessary because the rotors were not old. So...if your looking for a cheap safety, and have some extra time this is a great place. just make sure your vehicle is in tip top shape, or be prepared to spend some extra cash because your vehicle will likeley be different than mine and you may need repairs before you qualify for a safety. Otherwise, buy a new car :)-
The staff, who are very friendly and easy going, took me right away and despite not having the parts needed on hand, promptly ordered the parts and secured them to provide same day services for a great price. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Went for a safety certificate. They are professional and didn’t ask for unnecessary changes as was mentioned in the previous comments. I was worried but it was quick and hassle free. Ask Asad for any advice you need related to your car.
