Been going here for almost 20 years and I can tell you that it always delivers. Jim is great and I highly recommend checking this place out. Old fashion shop, even has magazines! No Playboy though.
My husband has been going here for his haircut frequently for the last 8 years. His regular barber is very pleasant and skilled. Unfortunately, there is no facial shaving, which would have made this place an ultimate barber shop. The price for the haircut recently went up this year but it's still a great price. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of free parking in a strip mall that includes a grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, a couple of convenience stores, and more.
I started going to Donwoods after my Barber of over 30 years retired in 2023. I am more than happy with my overall experience and hope it lasts for years to come.
Got home from work early thought I’d go for a walk so I left the car at home and went to the strip mall behind me and that’s were I found donwoods men’s hairstylist walked in and was greeted right away. It was a great experience right from the start and the service was great had a really great conversation with everyone there it was like I was at home. The price was great as well they’ve got a customer for life. Thanks for everything guys ???
I should share a comparison shot of the simple haircut that was shown and asked for, and what was done. First and only time will be visit. It was such a simple hair cut request Sorry one star on attention to request price and final result.
Got lucky today and was able to get a cut even without an appointment. Great quality haircut and Jim is very friendly. Covid-19 protocol is in place so you feel safe and protected.
I have been trying to many different place to find a good barber, in last 15 years But once i foud Jimmy it was a good one Jimmy is not a good guy only but hes a best barber I've seen The best service no need for an appointment best service ansd awesome job. I do highly recommend this place. It will be my hair cut place forever. I really mean it. Is not a first choice is a best choise.....
