So i got a cajun chicken panini from the break cafe and the chicken was raw and uncooked and the lady there fought with me saying i ate most of the bread part of the sandwich so she wasnt willing to make me another one when the chicken was clearly raw and uncooked, idk what she was tryna prove when i told her what i ate was raw…. but she was like since you ate it ill try giving you a refund. After alot of arguing she just decided to make me another sandwich because she didn’t know how to refund me the money back? also she was really rude…like my bad you dont know how to do ur job properly….
Weekly Lunch specials: I think it’s one of the best options in regards to food prices on campus. The food doesn’t taste too bad, it’s made ahead of time and warmed on hot plates which may effect the food quality at times (ex. garlic bread for Monday’s weekly meal was a bit hard cause it cooled). It’s cheap so I’m not expecting a mind blowing meal, just something to fill me up, and it does the job. Service has been quick and efficient whenever I grab lunch here, even when there’s a lunch rush. Drinks: I’m a matcha enthusiast, and I would not recommend the matcha, it’s extremely milky and I don’t taste any matcha (aroma is the best bet for matcha on campus). I haven’t tried their coffee though so I do not have a say on that.
I have been to the Break Cafe twice now, and both times a nice student took my order and asked for me name. The prices is that comparable to starbucks but I would much rather support the school cafe. I loved the match and iced latte and perfect for students studying in the building.
Hey folks, I have tried veg lasagna at many restaurants but the experience which I received at the break cafe was something else. I would like to recommend you all to have delicious veg lasagna at the break cafe.
The paninis is sometimes under cooked. (Not pressed well for even heating) It is fairly nice price and portion but Don't order really late.. as the portion isn't the best and left overs aren't worth it. Butter chicken had literally no chicken..
For $6.99 this is a steal. Tastes good and will get you through your post-class munchies. The matcha latte is nice too, sweet though not super strong in matcha flavor.
Recently had the spinach lasagna and it was super fresh and flavourful. The place is super affordable with decent portion sizes. Try their matcha latte cause it slaps too. 10/10 for sure
