Need a last min car detailing, called Drift and Shine mobile, I was pleasantly surprise.,Excellent, professional and prompt communication. I was able to book second day. Eric did excellent job for a deep cleaning of my very messy car and my car looks so nice after the cleaning. ♥️. Price is fair. Will definitely book again.
Unfortunately, my experience with Eric’s car detailing service was far from what I expected. I booked an interior and exterior detail, but when I picked up my vehicle, it looked barely touched. There was still visible dirt on the dashboard, streaks on the windows, and crumbs in the cup holders. I brought it up to Eric, but he was dismissive and said it was "as good as it gets." Communication was also a problem, he was late to the appointment, didn’t answer texts promptly, and gave me vague updates. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and attention to detail. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel others should know what to expect. I won’t be returning.
I had a great experience working with Eric for an interior car detailing. He was able to fit me in just a few hours after my initial call, showed up on time, and completed the job efficiently with good results. While it may not have been the absolute best detailing I’ve ever had or the cheapest option out there, the convenience of same-day service at my home made up for it. If you value speed, reliability, and not having to leave your driveway, this service is a solid choice.
Have a look at the photos and see for yourself— absolutely terrible job. Streaking throughout glossy parts of the interior, streaking on windows— both of these infinitely worse than before the detailing. Poor attention to detail. Spots missed, and the rims had a very rudimentary cleaning with dirt and grime left throughout. Wax or what ever cleaning products used were not properly wiped off. Communicated initially with Eric but he sent a guy name Abdul who did this poor job. Must be done on some contracted basis as he left a card with the name of another detailing company. I raised the terrible job done with Eric and he said he would check if the same guy was willing to come back (not, for example, “sorry that my company did a poor job, this is clearly below our standards, we will come and do the job properly immediately”). Ended up saying that Abdul could come back at an unknown time during the coming week, and I declined as I did not want this man who clearly does not know how to clean my car to make another attempt, not to mention i would have had to wait several days with this man’s fingerprints all over my console touchscreen amidst all the other streaks— so i elected to clean it on my own. Do you want to pay $225 and have this result and then need to clean your own car? If so, go with this company. Update: After I posted this review, the business owner finally reached out to explain that he had recently been injured and had to subcontract the job to someone else. I genuinely empathize with anyone dealing with an injury—especially when managing everything alone. That said, it doesn’t excuse what followed. Rather than taking full ownership, he made excuses, focused on his personal situation, and offered me a refund—but only if I removed my review (which, for the record, violates Google’s review policies). A refund for a job done poorly isn’t a favour—it’s the bare minimum. And customers deserve to know in advance if the work is being subcontracted. What’s most troubling is that, even when faced with clear evidence of the poor service, the priority seemed to be protecting his reputation, not making things right. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but accountability matters. How a business handles its mistakes says everything—and in this case, it was handled poorly. I wouldn’t feel comfortable supporting a business that operates this way.

He arrived right on time, with a friendly and kind demeanor. He made sure to ask me about any worries I had about the car prior to cleaning it which i appreciated. Not only was the service exceptional, but he was also professional, making the entire process easy and seamless. I was able to work while he cleaned my car, and when I came out two hours later, just as promised, everything was finished and looked fantastic. My car, which was quite dirty, looked spotless. I highly recommend booking him for your next cleaning. They get a 5 stars from me!
I really appreciate DriftandShine. I spilled a smoothie on my driver's car seat and it's material. I called at 9:30 pm. There was an answer and the person on the phone told me to make a mixture to get it out as much as possible right away. It worked; it is now clean. Thank you very much for your help.
