I’ve been coming here since middle school and now i still come 8 years later. The service is still great and the food is even better. Its my go to fried chicken spot.
I had Fritou for the first time in Vancouver and it was absolutely fantastic. Some of the juiciest, yummiest chicken I've ever had. Went here to see if the lone location in Toronto could repeat that magic. The chicken was cooked to order so it took about a half hour. I ordered "extreme" spicy but it ended up being oversalted and not really that spicy at all. The chicken clearly wasn't marinated, so the breading was just on the skin and none of the spices penetrated through to the meat. And so the meat itself tasted rather plain. For this location, unlike the Vancouver location, breast pieces aren't available. The only pieces are wing, thigh, and leg. The poutine was oversalted. Not much I can say about this one. Edible but below average, but at least real cheese curds were used. The Fritou sauce had hints of honey, but it became too apparent the more I used it, and I could only stand to use it for a few bites. Overall, Jollibee is clearly better than this particular Fritou, but costs significantly more. While this Fritou location is passable for the locals, it's not good enough to warrant a special trip. It was very different than the one in Vancouver, which hopefully I'll get to visit again sometime next year.
A very low-key spot that locals in the neighborhood would know. My go to spot when I want fried chicken, the price is very reasonable. It's not upscale of course because it's a neighborhood mom and pop restaurant. I recommend.
I been coming here for almost 3 years now and they never disappoint! I always come after school or just on the weekend for lunch and get my food quick and fresh and the service is 5/5❤️
The best fried chicken with affordable price very crunchy and tender and thier fish and chips is soo delicious our family love it and we just leave across the streets
This place has the freshest chicken I have ever had!! It is crispy, and the chicken is tender and juicy! They also have amazing spicy fries that you must try. Also, try it the Fritou sauce, it's amazing too.
I ordered the chicken sandwich from uber and it looked nothing like the photos!!!!!!!!! The picture had tomatoes and lettuce and it was cut in pieces. The sandwich I got was whole and just had chicken and gravy inside. Nothing else. Worst experience ever!
