This was my first visit to Donway Dental. I received exceptional, thorough treatment, with kind, caring and compassionate attention. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim.
Dr. Kim is a very good dentist. She explains things well and does an excellent job of deciding what should be done, your choices, and gives advice on that is likely to be best. The results after all procedures I have had, have been excellent. Very satisfied. The office staff are also very good.
Dr. Kim did 2 fillings for me back in September. I couldn’t bite on the side of the fillings for a week after the procedure (it was hurting when I tried). I went back and dr. Kim examined me and said that she doesn’t see anything bad and I should wait for 3 more weeks and see if pain stops. I went to a different dentist for a second opinion, who told me that one of the filings didn’t stick to my tooth, and it needs to be re-done, and that waiting wouldn’t help. When that second dentist re-did my filling, they said that the tooth wasn’t properly cleaned before - they found decay that should’ve been removed. To sum up, dr. Kim did a bad job.
Our family loves Dr. Kim and her practice. She is so compassionate and incredibly skilled. I never feel anything and she is amazing at communicating what is going on during any procedure. The whole team is fantastic. Highly recommend their services.
I have been a patient of Donway Dental for somewhere around 35 to 40 years. I really liked Dr. Terry Shapiro, he was my Dentist, but more importantly he was my friend. Since his passing, I miss him dearly. When Dr. Marium PISTOL took over the practice, I was not sure what the difference would be, and I quickly realized that "Mario" is a dental genius with incredibly gifted skills as a Dentist. I have been so impressed and amazed by "Mario's", dentistry expertise, his gentleness and his sincere caring for his patients along with his great personality. Dr. Pistol is a credit to his profession and I go out of my way to recommend him to my friends and associates.The old staff and now the new staff have always been so good to me and my family. Absolutely lovely! Went there as an extremely nervous new patient after some traumatic experiences in the past, and everyone was so kind, friendly, understanding, and reassuring. Dr. Kim did a great job and carefully explained what she was doing as she went along. I feel I am in good hands now and would warmly recommend this practice to anyone.
I have never had a filling or cleaning that was as comfortable as I had at Donway Dental. I felt like my teeth were cleaner than they have ever been after seeing Jackie. I barely felt the needle when Dr. Kim had to do fillings on me twice (I am learning to floss better now) and overall, the experience was as pleasant as can be, considering I was in a dental office. The staff at Donway are friendly, knowledgeable and make the patients feel more like family than patients. Would highly recommend this clinic.
