just ordered a chicken bowl from there. chicken smelled very weird, almost like rotten deli meat. i threw it out immediately don’t recommend eating here at all.
First of all, listen it’s great food & I adore coming here. However, there’s two workers who are always giving attitude when I’m there. I always ask for gluten free bread, one lady runs to the back and check, looking annoyed/rolling eyes because she’s dealing with other things, which I understand. I feel like I’m inconveniencing them when they have a gluten free option on their menu. and the lady with the glasses responded asking if I wanted the regular focaccia bread on top of the counter because the gluten free slice was small.. I emphasized I needed to have any “gluten free” bread option, I’ll feel sick with regular bread. It just sucks, the manager had mentioned that when I come back they’d ensure they’d have more gluten free bread. Again, the sandwich is phenomenal when I ordered it but I wish they just ensured they have more gluten free bread. Not to mention I saw a dark black/brown hair in my salad once in which I tossed(I have blonde hair).. I apologize for complaining, it’s my favourite place at york to eat.. but I just wish they had more stock in gf options or provide more clarification in what is gf & wish the service was more positive overall. it’s unfortunate because the place has such great healthy food options. I hope it’s better when I go in the future.
We had an amazing experience with them for a seminar two months ago when we ordered about 50 sandwiches (10 different types). Antonella was the one who helped me, she doubled checked everything and even remember to put napkins and straws without I ask her. She also helped me with choosing an inclusive menu for our guests as they have all type of options like veggie vegan halal etc.
The fact that you can pick your toppings, serve your own frozen yoghurt and pick your own size is a winner in my books. Did you think i have been to a self-serve yogurt shop before nope this was the only that you can serve yourself and pay for it, not that pricey and the toppings are madly scrumdiliumcious, means delicious but i always did a mad bunch of fun i did choose vanilla and strawberry yogurt with gummy worms, gummy bears, brownies, cheesecake and cookie dough yeah im fun so what. I do have pic but it was back in sq 1and my hand was shaky so its barely a snap but this is only location to go now but its worth trying ya'll!
Edit from 2 stars to 1 star: You can tell their toxicity from they way they try to discredit reviewers by attacking the date they left reviews. Is there a law that says we have to leave a review on the day we had a bad experience?
Great place to eat and grab a quick lunch. Food is delicious, service is quick, price isn't too bad. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich and loved it. Would definitely come back to try the other food.
I had the grilled chicken wrap with grilled zucchini and sun-dried tomatoes and it was delicious, only problem for me was the chicken was warm but the zucchini was cold as ice. Almost ruined it but I liked it.
