they have expired buko pandan on their shelf, unfortunately i already got home when i realized. couldn’t ask for refund/ replacement. doesn’t check their products on daily basis. charges you 50cents for paying with credit card. not worth it.
I had a bad breakfast dine-in experience at Kiko today (Saturday 12-13-2025 @ 11:05AM). When I arrived and ordered lomi, only three tables were occupied. After 15 minutes, my order still hadn’t arrived. Even when the place became full, there was still no sign of my order. After more than 30 minutes, it still hadn’t come, and customers who arrived after me were served first. Out of frustration, I canceled my order. I hope you can improve your customer waiting system and provide updates on how long the order will take to prepare.
If you’re looking for some of the most authentic Filipino cuisine in the GTA, Kiko’s is a must-visit. This small, humble spot at Wilson and Bathurst serves food made with heart—you can see it in their presentation and taste it in the thoughtful, well-balanced flavors of every dish. Their cooking captures that perfect blend of “simple yet sophisticated,” delivering comforting classics with an elevated touch. Portions are very generous, offering true “bang for your buck,” and the consistency of their food shows why they’ve been a staple in the area for so long. You might even wonder why they haven’t expanded, but it’s clear they value staying small to maintain the quality that sets them apart.
Food are good. The liempo is a must try and the pork sisig is good. The serving is pretty decent. The price is pretty reasonable. And they have free soup if you dine in.
I had lunch today with my friend at Kiko’s Filipino Restaurant and it honestly felt like stepping right back into the Philippines. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome right away. I ordered their Chicken Inasal which is something I’ve really missed from back home. The flavor was surprisingly close to the authentic taste. I’d say around 80–90% similar which is impressive for being away from the Philippines. They even served it with free soup which made the meal feel even more comforting. The combination was perfect. The restaurant wasn’t busy during lunch, so the place stayed calm and quiet, something I really appreciate because I love eating peacefully without too much noise. Overall, a great experience: delicious food, friendly staff and a homely atmosphere. If you’re craving Filipino comfort food, Kiko’s is definitely worth a visit!
Staff was phenomenal, you can feel the hospitality the moment you walk in. Food was as close to home as you can get. Friendly service , the chef did a great job with the entire meal. Kuddos for the overall experience. Recommend for family, couples and friends
Came over the weekend because of a TikTok we saw. Huge mistake. We will never go back and we definitely won't recommend this place to anyone. First red flag: they make you pay for your food upfront, even if you're dining in. Terrible policy. I tip based on service — being forced to tip before even getting your food is ridiculous. Then comes the disaster that they call food. My wife ordered their Inasal special, and I got the Kamayan. Both were absolutely bland and lifeless. We were served reheated food that wasn’t even properly hot. The Inasal chicken tasted nothing like actual Inasal, and the Kamayan dishes were dry and sad. The crispy pork? Disgusting. Old, tough, and chewy — completely inedible. When we complained, they brought us more, but it was the same garbage, just microwaved a little longer. To top it all off, the washroom was filthy and the toilet was clogged. This place is a complete joke. Avoid it at all costs.
