The chicken was fantastic and I really liked the customer service because they were very kind to serve the chicken. Also the meals were pretty good and the experience was overall pretty good
Too many bad experiences with this place. Although close to my condo therefore convenient, ended up being inconvenienced too many times due to crooked staff who play stupid and cashiers constantly trying to scam you by overcharging and/or scoop only broth and hardly any meat in an already puny sized “LARGE” take out container. Better off going to Wilson and save myself the hassle of having to tell the owner what went wrong again. I gave them soooo many chances to get things right.
This is a great place for traditional Filipino home cooked dishes. Nestled along Bathurst St. across Baycrest Hospital, you can't miss the big "Mang Jose" sign outside. They have about 14 dishes that include goat stew, kare-kare, kaldereta, sinigang, papaitan, bangus sa tawsi, pansit, bicol express,adobo, bistek, sinigang, callos, bopis, etc. They also have their famous fried chicken, krispy pata, and also they have turon and lumpia. They also serve ice cream in rocky road, mango, cotton candy, strawberry, green tea, vanila, etc. Halo halo is also avalailable. Not to mention, they have a variety of kilawin if you are into that. The serving portions are generous and priced affordably. This is a really nice clean place for dine in or take out. I think this place will become a very popular staple in the area and will build up great following, myself included. I believe they are now also available to order via delivery services. I always recommend their fried chicken to my family and to our family friends that they have the best affordable chicken. However, I was very disappointed last Sunday when I ask my mom-in-law to buy the chicken for me. It was burned and dry fried chicken seemed like they have used a recycled oil too many times to fry it. Very disappointed
They have delicious fried chicken for $1:50 per piece (!) with a good variety of other dishes; it's a very nice looking little place with great service, just a great find.
This place had potential from what I saw for photos posted on Google. Went in for take out and didn't reflect that expectation. It might of been at the wrong time or because in restaurant dining was not available but it was a turn off. Food looked like it had been sitting for a long time. Not appetizing at all. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Before ,I love ordering their 1 dollar chicken for occassions but now I'm thinking of finding other restaurants because it has started getting smaller and smaller.I ordered 60 pieces but most of it are tiny drumsticks.
