Elegante hair !!! Abby is the best ! I have been to so many hair colourists and will only stay with Abby as she knows exactly how to blend the perfect colour !!! She is amazing with all colours especially blonde. Abby is great at making sure you are completely satisfied with her incredible artistry. I highly recommend her and the salon to even the pickiest person! Also she won’t cut your hair off if you don’t want it cut off!!! Abby understands what a little trim means! Abby didn’t know what she was doing when colouring my roots. She said “we will just see what happens” after colouring my hair. For a professional she didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Overall not happy with the result and she overcharges customers. Agreed to a price and then she changed it to more expensive when paying. Won’t go back there again. It’s to bad I was looking for a regular new salon to go to get my hair done monthly.
Abby is best in city. She takes her time and goes out of her way to ensure your happy. She doesn't rush must go salon. She is incredible stylist especially for long hair and for blondes. She's number 1
I needed an updo done for my cousin's wedding on a Sunday before the long weekend and came across this place. Initially she tried to put curls in my hair using a brush and a blow dryer and I asked her to use a curling iron instead. I asked for a low bun updo but she was scrunching up my hair at the top and I hated the way it looked so I spoke up about it. I told her what I wanted but she still continued to do what she wanted to do. I showed her a picture of how I wanted the top part to be and then she randomly used that picture as a guideline for the entire updo. When I spoke up again (which is what all hairdressers would want you to do rather than finishing the whole thing and hating it) she got frustrated and asked me to leave. She knew I had to go somewhere else and left me in a very bad position. She asked for $20 because she curled my hair (which by the way, had to be re-curled by the 2nd hairdresser I went to that day). I gave her the money and walked out. She said she has been in business for 20 years but it seems impossible because she has no customer service skills whatsoever. Telling me to leave because I told her I dont like how its going? Am I not saving you time and energy by stopping you? I really believe she got frustrated because she couldn't get my hair to manage to her liking. Its obvious she doesnt do updos much. Please save your time and money and dont go here. She put me in a horrible position and a great deal of stress because I ended up being late. She is rude, arrogant, unprofessional and has no skills as a hairdresser.
Abby was VERY sweet! We had a wedding on a Sunday (long weekend) and she opened up the salon for us! Wow! We had our appointments at 8 am and my daughter and I were out by 10am just as planned with beautiful up-do's !! Abby also arranged for a make-up artist to come to the salon! Amazing service! She even called me a week later to say HI and see if we were satisfied! We are from Montreal and have only good to say ! Thumbs up?
