Thanks to stylist Juo?, my hair has never looked this good! I’ve always been worried about my thin hair, but the layered cut and natural perm added so much volume. It looks amazing, and I don’t even need to style it because just drying it is enough. I highly recommend this salon!
Worst salon experience ever. This place will forever remain on my blacklist. I recently visited this salon for a balayage. Because my hair had grown-out dark roots and previously bleached ends, I booked a consultation beforehand to ensure the stylist understood the complexity. The salon assigned me a stylist named Rosie, who assured me she would only bleach the new growth and avoid the already-lightened sections. This seemed reasonable, so I trusted her expertise. However, the actual appointment went very poorly. After bleaching my roots, the color lifted only to a brassy bronze—not the even blonde needed for the purplish-gray shade I wanted. I didn’t question it at the time because I assumed she knew what she was doing. She then applied toner globally without checking or showing me how my hair was processing. At the very end, after everything was finished, she asked the receptionist (acting as translator) to tell me that they had “underestimated the darkness” of my natural hair, so the color turned out completely wrong. She also said she didn’t expect my already lightened ends to absorb the pigment so strongly—which made it clear she hadn’t been monitoring the toner at all during the process. As a result, both my newly bleached roots and my previously lightened ends ended up much darker and muddier than they should have been. It was only after I left the salon that I realized the bleaching had also been extremely uneven, as shown in the photo I took two days later. Now that my hair has been lifted unevenly and toned far too dark, achieving my desired color in the future will require even more bleaching, causing even greater damage. I was told the stylist had over 10 years of experience, yet the results and the lack of corrective action during the appointment suggest she was not prepared to handle a balayage of this complexity. I didn’t even choose her myself; she was assigned to me by the salon. Given the outcome, I do not think she should have been performing this service at all. The salon manager did offer a second session, but I had already lost confidence. I accepted the full refund and appreciated that she took my case seriously, but I remain very upset by the experience. Overall, I was left with damaged, uneven hair and a complete loss of trust. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
Stylist Ai, she’s the best! The haircut turned out exactly how I wanted it. She was super kind, gave me great advice on what suits me, and even taught me how to take care of my hair. The shampoo and head massage were so relaxing too. Thank you so much!! I asked for a haircut and got a completely different hair cut than what I asked for. They also did not use heat protection when they straightened my hair to try to style it. The attached picture is what I got after styling so I think that was their best attempt.
