I don't really get the hype of this place. $25 for a small burger, cheese fries and a drink...and a long ordering to pick up process, no customization options.... pretty basic if you ask me. Good in a pinch but not a destination.
I finally decided to try a burger from Shake Shack (I usually get chicken). I asked for it “well done” and received a completely burnt inedible burger. If I hadn’t got it for take out, I would have gone right back. The fries at least were good, but super disappointed in the burger. The service also was insanely slow.
Fast service and there’s always a worker cleaning the tables! They have an area separate from the food court so those who order food always have a place to sit.
The food is pretty decent. Good ol’ greasy smash burger and fries! It may be because I haven’t had Shake Shack in a few years or I’ve grown a lot, but the burgers seem noticeably smaller. Wish the patties had a bit more seasoning. Skip the fries, not worth $6.
We visited Shake Shack today and had an amazing experience, all thanks to Dilpreet. She assisted us throughout our visit and her service was truly outstanding. She was so polite, friendly, and attentive. Even while buzzing the table, she made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Her hospitality was on point, and she really made our visit enjoyable. Good food at outrageous prices No refills on fountain drinks. What greed They even ask you to tip after you’ve paid $25 for a burger fries and drink. Lol
Ordered 2 Double Shack Burgers which were delicious , Cheese Fries which were unfortunately a bit too cold, The Chicken Nuggets that were thankfully piping hot and fresh, as well as the Strawberry Lemonade which was really refreshing. It does take time for the food to come but it is because they make it to order, the prices are okay and seem to be around the same with other burger joints. It is way better than other burger places at Yorkdale, and it is good to try! Will come back again!
