More of the same. Staff towards the back of the store are helpful. This is a review of the cashier(s) and this experience is not a one off. I went to buy a product and approached the cashier talking with another staff member. I put the product down and the cashier tells me she will check me out at the other terminal. Ok. Conversation continues between the two until the cashier says $5. Conversation continues and I say Visa. The conversation continues as I grab the product and the receipts she places in front of me. As I leave the conversation continues. This seems to happen every time I am there. So, I actually prefer to drive to Home Depot 30 minutes away than walk 10 minutes o Dickson.
Great store with a very helpful staff. The only thing I had concerns about was when I was waiting to be make my purchase and I saw one of the staff (I think is a new employee) literally shove a cashier i know who is a super friendly nice lady out of the way and was extremely rude after shoving her. You could see how upset the one cashier was being shoved was and no apology was given only more rude behavior and all this was happening right in front of paying customers. Unexceptable in my opinion. Usually Dickson's is a place that feels like a wholesome place the community can go for their hardware needs filled with smiles and good people but the other weekend unfortunately it wasn't.
I didn't know where the thing was that I needed so I asked a person that I assumed work there and they took me to the thing and then I was able to purchase the thing now I have the thing I use the thing and everything is great
Last of the old-timey hardware stores. They have pretty much everything, the prices are a little higher on some things than HD, but not much and it's worth it to pay for the convenience of having so much convenience in the neighborhood. The staff are knowledgeable and it's a bit cramped but they know where everything can be found and there's usually at least one of the thing I need. They also cut keys for older vehicles! Even Candian Tire doesn't do that any more.
A very well-stocked store — you can find everything you need. Most importantly, the staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help. I’m very satisfied and always enjoy shopping here.
Never seen so many miserable people in my life. No one asks if you need help after clearly circling the store more than once and if you ask one of them they just point and act like it's a bother meanwhile the I can't even mention the conversation I was overhearing between the cashier and another employee overall they had what I need but priced high obviously but -8 out of 10 for any type of service
