Disappointed in their work. I brought up my concerns immediately but they just ignored me. They should have lowered fence one section sooner so dogs couldn’t go under. They rush to finish the job with no care. I have been calling Amen for almost 2 months regarding the adjustments needed and nothing has been done so far. Amen said they could remove the soil if it was necessary. They didn’t even distribute the soil but rather piled it all in between my house and the fence. Don’t trust HomeStar ratings.
Ayman and the team at MH were very professional and were able to help me with all the issues I had with unfortunately neglected front and back yards. Mohtaz, Oday, and Yazeed were very kind, professional and understanding to the vision I had; and with their expertise, helped bring both my back yard and front yard back to life! They were the first company I called and will now be the only company I call for all my future yard care needs. This review is going to be a bit complicated as my experience with MH Services was complicated. I reached out to Aymen for a quote to install interlocking pavers and he prompty booked a meeting; he was professional and friendly. After settling on a price and a material over text, I received an official quote and it was higher - when I brought this up, he apologized immediately and offered a small discount. I signed the agreement about 6 weeks prior to the work, giving plenty of time to schedule. On the start day, I was informed that the material was not available from the supplier and the installation had to be delayed a few days. There was no real impact to us, but it was a bit frustrating since we had booked so early. I was informed that due to the size of the job, they did not preorder material and expected things to be in stock with their suppllier (which was not the case). On the rescheduled day, there was no communication about arrival time. My written quote stated a start time between 7-8 AM and I was waiting around until 10 AM. I had other plans that morning and this waiting around was not optimal for me. Then, the crew that came to work could not complete the work as they were too fatigued. I cannot fault or force someone to work if they are exhausted as no one wins, but this was once again a strange event. Additionally, the stone that was on site was not the stone in the quote. There was some miscommunication about the pattern of interlocking pavers as well. Ultimately, we compromised and the stone that was on site was used. The actual quality of the installation work appears to be good, and throughout all of this, the crew that was on site (Akram and Mohtaz) were very polite and accepted all of my requests. My issues were with the sales process and scheduling - a 1-day installation ended up taking 3 days. I supposed I would recommend MH Services for the quality of the actual work, but with the caveat that you may doing some of your own project management.
My Home Services did a great job, at a reasonable price, they removed all the old grass first and then put the new sod down. Very friendly and accommodating team, I very much recommend them.
