Amazing atmosphere and great food! The place has such a warm, family-oriented vibe — the staff are friendly, kind, and genuinely caring. I came in alone for lunch and they treated me like royalty. They even offered a few things on the house, which made my first visit feel extra special. The portions were generous, prices super reasonable, and the space spotless. Definitely one of those places that makes you feel right at home
This couple seriously knows what they’re doing. This isn’t your run of the mill shawarma restaurant. The meats are seasoned marvellously bursting with flavour, the rice is cooked perfectly, the veggies are all fresh. Absolutely delicious, new fav spot. I also tried a side of lentil soup, very clearly home made with care, tasty and warmed my soul. The new owners (as of mid 2025) are so kind and they’ve clearly got high standards. The flavour and quality of the meat speaks for itself. Must try
Duhok Shawarma is easily one of the best spots around! The food is absolutely amazing fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection every time. You can really taste the quality in every bite. On top of that the hospitality is second to none, the staff are warm & welcoming and genuinely care about making sure you have a great experience whether its your first visit or your tenth, they treat you like family. Highly recommend to anyone to loves great shawarma.
I got a chicken wrap, the wrap was tearing apart was not able to even eat it. The bread seemed really cheap not like any shawarma bread i’ve seen tasted cheap as well. The oil was dripping out of every bite it was very unusual. While the actually chicken was good just really small. Never had the plate hope it’s way better.
Ordered a chicken on the rocks through Ubereats. Chicken was definitely a day old and had a weird texture. They were also very stingy on the portions. Will not return!
Been coming here from time. Food is great and customer service is great as well. This is one of my favorite spot for chicken shawarma. Thumbs up. Edit- Although I dearly miss red and white , but this new place is really good. They make you feel very welcome, portions are generous and quality of food is good!. I have been comming back quite a few times and I do recommend this place. No disappointment. 5 stars for me.
Looking for good service or a reliable restaurant? look elsewhere! This restaurant was by far the worst establishment I have ever had the bad luck of coming across. Low class and sloppy staff, unprofessional, filthy establishment. Would not recommend at all if you have an ounce of self respect. The foul mouthed, hazy-eyed cashier thought it was a wise decision to open her pack of cigarettes and light one up while servicing me, i saw her curse out a few other customers. Not to mention I saw roaches approach me to end the experience off. This establishment should not be in operation if this is how they run business operations. Truly disappointed and worst $20 spent of my life.
