Been going here for as long as I can remember, the staff is amazing, great service but the star of the show is definitely the peas and rice with Jerk chicken and Ox tail gravy!!! It’s my home away from home when it comes to having a good meal at an affordable price!!! Much love Always
I work all over TO and even out of town, so a few times before (every few weeks), I’ve called & asked them to make low salt steam fish dinner, as it was a bit salty at times…today i called after 4, & no steam availlable, only stew(fry then put in sauce); So i thought how bad could it be?! Went in after 20 mins, asked for low sauce, & still, OMG, the fish itself was soo salty!? wasted $15+ for medium . Please look after you’re customers and our community’s health.
HIDDEN GEM!! I'm seriously addicted to this place to the point I go through withdrawal if I don't eat here at least once a week. The jerk is amazing and seasoned with the soul!! The rice and peas with gravy has such a nice and comfy taste! Not to mention the price.. everything about this place is perfection!
The food is really good I usually order the Jerk chicken with rice and peas,the proportions are a lot I order the mega and I can eat and leave for the next day,and the price is so affordable.I have ordered there oxtail before and it was also really good,another thing I love how they secure the food the bag is not only tied but stapled like 2 times so you will know if someone tries to get in it,that sense of security is everything for me.
This place is amazing. My coworker recommended it and I’m so excited for this to be a new go-to. Came in with my friend and he tried it too. We had fried chicken and jerk chicken I had fries and he had rice. The fries are soo good and crispy. The chicken is so fresh. The price is incredibly affordable and the serving sizes are so good.
I posted this on living well page and someone told me that the name of the restaurant has changed to new management so I’m going to copy the exact review here. The food from this place is actually pretty good but the customer service is terrible. Online it’s says they close at 9pm I got to the store at 7:20 they were out of almost everything. They only had a few piece of chicken to make a mini meal. And the employees didn’t look like they wanted to make more. I had to just get my refund and leave the place. The place also needs some cleaning it’s dirty the roof looks like it’s been leaking water for some time now. Management time to step up!
Didn’t get what I paid for, I asked for jerk chicken, rice & peas with oxtail gravy. Ended up getting BBQ chicken instead. On my lunch time too, unacceptable. This seems to be a thing that happens too often here. Disappointed
