The worst Mr. sub restaurant I have ever eaten from! Received subs from here when ordered on Uber Eats From the bread to the items inside, everything was gross Stale bread, gross old tasting meat, watery sauce, old vegetables…. Gross, gross gross Never again!
Have been going to this location for years as its in the neighbourhood. Always get great subs here. Fresh ingredients always. Owner is very friendly.
The staff are much more friendly recently which is a sizeable and welcome change! I tried the Tex Mex black bean sub - it's quite tasty! I'd order it again but the price (if you don't have a coupon) is steep. Now they need to get vegan cheeze slices and a non-dairy sour cream-type sauce or some such thing to go with. ;)
Come on, eat here! A sub shop is a sub shop! I came in on Friday before my shift, and, this place has two wonderful ladies operating it! She suggested the breaded chicken, with Thai sauce, grilled! It was amazing! But their SERVICE was everything! Thanks you ladies sincerely, The Hungry bus driver!
Quiet little privately owned shop. Reminds me of an earlier time in my childhood and splitting a sandwich with my dad. It doesn't offer a unique experience, but it promises and delivers a reassuring and simple experience. They also have some fancy sodas - if that's your thing.
Had a good experience here. They don't seem very busy, no line when I got there. Staff are pleasant. They worked quickly, but didn't rush the sub construction. The ingredients were clearly fresh, and I saw them sorting out bits of veggies that weren't nice. Restaurant was clean, and they have washrooms that were also clean. It's in an old building, which overall isn't the nicest, but they've done a good job with it. I'd go back for a quick lunch if I were in the area again.
Whenever you get the craving for a sub. Mr. Sub on Dufferin St. is the place to satisfy your need. Their subs are great and well made. Definitely try the classic assorted sub. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are open until midnight every day except Sunday. They also have great catering options.?
