I had my transmission rebuilt by Mila back in December 2023 and it is still going strong today. He did a great job of rebuilding the transmission on my 2008 Ford Escape. My transmission just suddenly gave up while on my way to work and luckily Mila was able to take in my suv that Friday afternoon just before closing time. He did advise that he will need some time to take it out and open it to check what happened. It needed a full rebuild and I had it back in less than a week. Thank you Mila for accepting the late last minute call and taking my truck in.
Honest, friendly, professional service, a rare find today. The only transmission place I fully trust. Not the first time that I bring my vehicle to them all the way from New Hamburg ON(1 1/2 hour drive) I was told by a few mechanics in KW area that I likely need a new transmission. They looked at my 2015 Grand Caravan, and found that some wires were chewed through by mice or similar rodents A simple and inexpensive fix, no new transmission needed. Superb level of expertise and the owner is a gentleman to top. Was recommended to him (to replace a shift solenoid) by the only honest mechanic whom me and my family have come across. Happy to discover that they are both alike. Ps found a few poor reviews here that where rather surprising to me. Though they seem to be made by certain uninformed individuals that assume either any Transmission of any age can be resurrected (at a discounted price), or that generally, unforeseen variables don't exist. My Trany now runs like butter after Mila’s repair, though if it turned out that the repair didn't remedy the issue that would be most understandable. As with certain exploratory surgical procedures, things are a hit and miss with these things. Such is life. Much obliged to the company
I was referred to this place by a friend and decided to give it a try. So I called in and was impressed right away by the honesty, knowledge and outgoing of the owner. I went in for a test drive with the owner and was told to bring it following Monday. Following Monday came and I drove 67 kilometers just for my appointment just for the guy to turn me down and told me he doesn't have time and walked away. How many stars should I give this location?
Very unprofessional management, I was waiting for two weeks for them to call back after initial assessment of transmission, once parts arrived was told, that would not fix the problem and needed full rebuild, we set a date for me to drop the car and a day before on a Sunday, milla calls to say he can't do the job because he doesn't know how is going to turn out, what? What kind of mechanic is this? Now I'm left looking for a real professional having to miss more time at work. Complete waist of time,complete disregard for others people time and probably not enough knowledge of trade, not recommended at all.
My Nissan Rogue cvt was acting up and I thought it was gone for sure and needed replacing. Miller took a look and suggested it just needed servicing. Way better than replacing an entire transmission. Anyway, as it worked out, car now runs great. He is also very professional and courteous. Thanks buddy I am very grateful.
