Ordered the egusi soup w/ pounded yam, agege bread, and obgono soup. The egusi soup, pounded yam, and bread were good, but the ogbono soup was unbelievably bitter. From sources, we’ve been informed that bitter ogbono is likely due to spoilage or old seeds. Not sure if bitterness was the intent because apparently ogbono soup isn’t supposed to be bitter. Not a great experience.
Ordered Okra soup and pounded yam as well as moi moi. The okra soup was dry with barely any meat in it. It looked like they just freshly cut up the okra and just mixed it with palm oil and boiled it only a little bit and served it. I had to throw it out because it was uneatable. No salt in it either. Everything just felt so raw, ESPECIALLY the moi moi. I scooped one spoon of the moi moi and it was extremely mushy. It felt as if they didn’t even steam it. As a result, I couldn’t eat any of my food. I just wasted $50 on this order.
Amazing service I got their Jollof Rice and rice with beans the protein was turkey with their village sauce. I would recommend you coming out to try their amazing food.
The food here is excellent! I had never had Nigerian food before, but the lady who works there recommended some dishes to me. It was so good that I came back again the next week to have more.
Hi, this is a local guide and uber delivery driver who just picked up the order from this restaurant.A few times today.just in the morning 1 sweet lady politely asked me to wait for 25 mins for my order, to support the restaurant I waited patiently but just now in the evening 0730 pm July 21 I encountered an extremely rude behavior from different lady in the evening.i want the management / owner to speak to this lady and teach her to be polite with uber drivers.i will also share with the uber support and let them know what has happened .
I ordered Eforiro, Egusi and Jollof at the finch branch and I must say the food is so good. That’s my best branch to order from. Kudos Naija jollof?
The owners response is very unprofessional. Yes I am SURE of which restaurant I walked in to, I think I’d have to be incompetent to not know which store I’m walking into. For future customers, please read my review here —> I saw this place on Tiktok so I decided to try it- immediate regret. The front lady who was in the back for a while, walked out and looked me straight in my eyes, she proceeded to stare at me until I turned at my partner in disbelief, then said to me “hi”.. From right then I should’ve walked out. Energy was off, staff seemed lazy and failed drastically with her customer service, hostile environment. Didn’t get to try the food but thankful for that. I drove 35 minutes to get here and left half way through the interaction, will never return.
