She carries a lot of positive energy. Very energetic and nice with kids as well. Vast knowledge about Kathak. Understand her students well and plan a lot before class accordingly.
I have been learning kathak since I was 5 years old and since then there have been many breaks in between due to shifting from one place to another. I have also tried many other kathak teachers but through it all I have never found a teacher as good as Rashmi Ma'am. She is flexible and she teaches kathak for what it truly is but in a fun way. Right now I am taking online classes with her from Stockholm. I love my online group. We always learn something new and have a lot of fun.
From childhood my daughter is doing classes from Rashmi Academy. Rashmi mam teaches very well each and every steps of Kathak. She is very open and supportive to all girls. My daughter has cleared 2 levels of kathak and 3rd level is going to complete in April month. She understands well the mind of kids and correct them.She has a beautiful spirit towards dance. She wants every students of her to become greater dancers than her. I would highly recommend her class.
I started my Kathak journey with Guru Smt. Rashmi Mishra ji in 2017 and she is solely responsible for helping me discover my love for this dance form. She herself is a very graceful dancer and as a teacher she is extremely kind and patient, she will always design her classes according to the age of her batch. She, herself being a super woman, understands all the limitations that we elders have and gives the right amount of push for us to do better in our dance. She gives a lot of opportunities to showcase our talent on stage and it's only because of her that I've been able yo get over my stage fright! My experience with her has been nothing short of phenomenal, she even encouraged me to start teaching. She was confident about my teaching abilities even though I was apprehensive. She is a multi tasker, she'll organize shows, choreograph dances, take classes etc. while being a full time mother and wife, and all this - effortlessly. There are multiple times when she has had her group ready for a dance show in just a couple of days!! It's unfortunate for us, her students in India, that she had to move to Canada! But I do sincerely hope she and RAPA continue to make waves where she goes!
