My husband and I have just completed our first session of salsa classes at Toronto Dance Salsa, Empress Walk, and it has been an absolutely incredible experience. Aleks brings such warmth, enthusiasm, and passion to every class that you instantly feel welcomed—like part of his extended dance family. His boundless energy and great sense of humor make each class not only fun but also completely absorbing; the time truly flies by. The assistants are just as wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely supportive—adding to the already positive learning environment. We’ve not only learned the fundamentals of salsa, but we’ve also become part of a loving, respectful community of learners. Our experience at TDS learning, laughing and building friendships has left us eager to begin our next session. Aleks is a wonderful, skilled and patient instructor with an extremely inclusive and positive vibe. The classes are a lot of fun but also challenging. Highly recommend for anyone from beginners to advanced - there are many classes at many levels! A great salsa school
I had a great experience in Salsa Level 1 at Toronto Dance Salsa. Aleks and his helpers are amazing! High energy, patient and very respectful. The vibe is fantastic and it’s an incredible place to start learning salsa, even for someone like me who had never tried salsa dancing before.
I attended the social dance party last night and loved it from the start. To start , I must admit, i was nervous to get out and meet new people. I felt comfortable immediately Aleks is such a warm and welcoming instructor .I immediately felt like part of the dance family . Highly recommend if you are looking to meet new people and build your confidence on the dance floor. APlus plus vibes all around
If you’re thinking about learning salsa, I recommend taking their level 1 salsa class. Aleks is a great teacher and will make sure you have the basics down. He’s patient with his students and will ensure you’re having a fun time!
You will absolutely LOVE learning new salsa moves with Aleks and his team. I love the energy, vibe, easy to follow teaching and most important - the one hour is sooo much fun. I joined these classes with my husband and we having a great time learning new moves every week. We went to a different salsa studio years ago and didn't enjoy it as much as we do with the Toronto Dance Salsa team. I highly recommend that you choose this company as everyone is so welcoming, friendly and willing to help and teach. The best part is the stories that Aleks shares that bring people together. Best instructors! You get soooo much more out of this than just dance skills! Its fun, warm, friendly, encouraging, a great sense of community... feels like family! I don't think it's possible to attend and not leave with a huge smile on your face!
