The doctors are great and friendly but the wait time is unbelievably long and it doesn’t matter whether you have an appointment or it’s a walk in.Its so unfair to make an appointment for 12:50-1:00pm and wait for 2 hours like you were a walk in.Its not okay, its not okay, this has got to change. The reason people make an effort o make an appointment is to avoid these wait times, kindly change these
I waited 2.5 hours at Dr. Appleby's office at Keele and Wilson, where he repeatedly had the front desk assistants call in other walk-in patients who arrived much later than myself. I also overheard him comment about one of his patient as she left his office to the front desk staff saying "such groundless thought". I left his office after the abuse and disrespect was too much and made my way to Intrepid Clinic by 1:40pm and was check-in after 5- 10mins then seen within the next 20mins. The doctor- Dr. Benedict was very thorough, patient and respectful. I was able to complete blood work on the spot. The whole experience was timely and efficient. I am so glad I went to this clinic, after a very horrible experience at Dr. Appleby's office - "Healthcare is not for those who have lost their humanity".
Says different opening and closing times on their site and Google, then when you get there they only have certain walk-in days that aren’t outlined anywhere online. 3 doctors standing around with no patients at 2:50pm but no one can help you. Disappointing.
I had a very disappointing experience at this location. One of the staff members name nicole” I believe she is a cashier —she was extremely disrespectful during my visit. She showed no manners, spoke with a rude and dismissive tone, and gave me a disgustingly poor attitude for no reason. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy, especially in a healthcare setting. If this is the standard of customer service, I will seriously reconsider returning. Management should look into this, as behaviour like this reflects poorly on the entire establishment. There was no reason for her behaviour to act that way — I approached the counter calmly, asked a simple question, and was met with eye-rolling, sighs, and an overall disgusting attitude that felt completely unnecessary. You think of small of me? I left the clinic feeling upset and frustrated. This is not how anyone should be treated, especially in a place where customers are seeking help, products, or possibly even medication. Gave me a judgement look ♀️but if you want to get judge and feel small then come here and you will encounter a person with a disgusting attitude.
Convenient, clean, friendly clinic with a pharmacy on the first floor and many specialty clinics in the building. The only real downside is that the parking is paid at a machine. But overall a very good clinic.
Before visiting, I checked your website and called your office to confirm your walk-in hours. Both sources indicated that the clinic would be open, yet upon arrival, I found the office closed. This was not only frustrating but also inconvenient, as I made the trip based on the information provided. Your website and phone system should be updated to ensure accurate information is available to patients. Clear and reliable communication is essential, especially when it comes to healthcare services. Won’t be coming back here or any North York Medical Clinic.
I tried to go to the walk-in clinic yesterday, turned out that it was closed for some reason. I called the office but no one answered, and I asked people in the 2nd floor but they had no clue. If there were some sort of emergency and they had to close the clinic, I would understand. But there was no information either on their door or on the website. I find it quite disturbing. Never going nor recommending their walk-in clinic.
