Always excellent and so tasty. I hate the crust on most take out/delivery pizzas but I gobble Da Venezia's up. Delicious! I order the Americana but I am told by friends that all of the other selections are great!
Meh. Ordered the pepperoni lover, which is supposed to be “double pepperoni.” Nope. If by double pepperoni, they mean three pieces of pepperoni per slice, then I guess it was double pepperoni. I’d hate to see a normal/single order of pepperoni. Just one of those cliché places where it’s more dough than it is toppings. Not impressed at all. You’re better off spending your money at pizza pizza, it tastes the same it’ll cost you half the price. Never again
Love these pies and the service. Only thing I don’t like is that often, I’ll walk far to get there only to see that it isn’t open when online it shows it is or sometimes, there’s a sign to show when someone will return and has stepped out so can be frustrating. Highly recommend calling ahead to see as it’s usually a crapshoot but regardless it’s worth the frustration for this pizza Edit: Tried stopping by again and still not open. Hopefully the owner is alright as there’s no signage/info.
I have bought from Da Venezia many times. The pizza is excellent. I even left a 5 star review when I started buying pizza from them. A while back they hired a young lady to take orders, who clearly is not up to the task. I'm not sure if it's a language issue or she is not suited for the role, but whatever it is, she has made ordering from them a challenge. Today she once again misunderstood my request despite I made a point to repeat myself 3 times to be absolutely clear, knowing she could and would get it wrong. And yet, she managed to get it wrong. I understand we all make mistakes and can have bad days, but it's not the first time it happens. What was really disheartening and made it worse was that the owner, instead of apologizing and trying to fix it, sided with his employee, suggesting I didn't order what I was saying I did and that I should be more clear. Okaaaay, I guess they don't believe in customer service. What a shame. All he had to do was say I'm so sorry for the mix up! It's so easy to keep customers loyal! Anyway, he can keep his attendant and his pies. My money will go elsewhere, where customers are actually appreciated and orders are taken properly. It's certainly not the only good pizza in town.
Don’t care about the decor or service. The pizza is great. Lightly toasted crust. Pizza stacked with toppings. Only wish there was a bathroom for clients.
I live near this place and the owner has been nothing but friendly to me. He is always welcoming and I love the pizzas they have to offer. Affordable and delicious. Deserves to be successful.
My family and I have been loyal customers of Da Venezia for nearly 10 years. Every pizza night has always been special because of this place. The food has been a part of so many wonderful memories for us, and we’ve always loved the quality and taste. However, today was different, and it left me truly heartbroken. When I called to place my order, the owner answered the phone. I mentioned “pepperoni” but didn’t hear it repeated back, so I repeated it to double-check—especially since there have been a couple of mix-ups with my order earlier this year. Instead of understanding, he responded rudely, asking how many times I needed to say it, and the conversation quickly became unpleasant. I just wanted to ensure my family’s favorite pizza was right, but instead, I felt disrespected. It’s disappointing because we were so excited for pizza night, but this experience has made us rethink returning. I’m sharing this because I truly hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Da Venezia has always been such a beloved place for us, and it’s sad to see this happen.
