I had the most fantastic experience dealing with Centennial plumbing. I was assisting an elderly lady that had a leaky tap in her bathtub and a leaky tap in her sink. Both of the faucets were installed in about 1952. Both the two people on the front desk were absolutely terrific in assisting me in coming to a solution and explaining to me how to install an old cartridge. I followed their advice and I’m so glad that I found Centennial who I was referred to by a large reputable plumbing supply store who quickly said if we don’t have it try Centennial.
We had an old American Standard shower. That no body in the city could find a part for or understand what was wrong with the part pieces. Mike looked at it and realized and someone had rigged another company adapter onto the American Standard and held it together with set screws and that is why I could not find a replacement part anywhere! Dr Mike. I got his name from Franklin at Home Hardware at Jane and Wilson who said if Mike could not solve it no one could. And Franklin was right. I literally drove around the city and spoke to 4 different plumbing supply stores before Mike solved it!
This probably isn’t a review for most of the people who go to Centennial Plumbing Supply. It is for someone who doesn’t know much about buying a toilet. I had a wonderful experience dealing with Mike over the phone when I wanted to replace my toilet in my condo. He was matter of fact and very patient with me, providing much needed info and asked additional questions of me. I explained what I wanted and he helped me determine the right toilet for the small space I have and walked me through the measurement process. I had gone to Home Depot and got some education there, but Mike was excellent in providing many other critical details that were meant to ensure the toilet would fit. I ended up buying an Icera Malibu skirted toilet and he installed a gold coloured handle for me to complete the “Look” . It installed perfectly. Thank you Mike!
It's actually located on Keele St (East side) by the Keele Reservoir. They sell special parts that chained store like Home Depot don't carry. Hopefully they offer longer hours.
Today I went to their shop to buy a valve. The kind of old one that has a cap for drainage I really needed only the cap not the entire valve as the valve has been installed in an old house , but I was ready to buy the valve itself and use the cap! A young man in this shop made a cap by cutting a screw and 2 O- rings! He is a genius and kind guy that solved my problem by just $5! I don’t know his name but appreciate him
Horrible customer service! Walked in and waited for almost 10 mins before I was even acknowledge. The old man working at the counter doesn't even sound like he wants to help answer your questions. Extremely rude! If you are not a contractor, i highly recommend you not come to this establishment.
Used to be my first stop for parts, but not anymore! Their customer service is not as good as before. The guy at the counter doesn’t want to answer my questions regarding the parts I’m buying. I’m back to Nobel
