They didn’t even have fufu available, even though the kitchen was still open for two more hours. I came specifically for that side, so it was really frustrating.

Food was great. Love the portions. Only thing I would advise is to separate the stew from the shito. Get portable containers to keep the stew and shito in them as not everyone is comfortable having all two on the main dish

I’ve traveled to many major cities across North America, and I always make it a point to find a Ghanaian restaurant. Nyamekye Restaurant in Toronto stands out as the best I’ve come across. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a warm welcome and genuine hospitality. The space is clean, spacious, and has a great atmosphere. Now the food—absolutely incredible! Every dish I tried was packed with authentic flavor. A big shoutout to Chef Boatemaa for the amazing culinary experience. What truly sets Nyamekye apart, though, is their top-tier customer service. Friendly, attentive, and professional—it’s their secret ingredient. Highly recommend if you’re ever in Toronto and craving Ghanaian cuisine!

Amazing Ghanian Jollof, Suya and Sobolo. Beautiful warming decor and ambience. More music in the background would add to the authenticity of it all. The service was attentive, helpful and polite.

The food was terrible I feel like they only prioritise in house customers. I drove all the way from Pickering since Uber eats doesn’t deliver here. The chicken was burnt! The fried rice tasted old. I never leave a negative remark of people’s business since I’m a business owner as well but this was soo bad. You guys have to do better for how much we pay. I feel insulted, like how are you okay thinking this is okay to sell to me. I’m not trying to pull you down but you’ve let me down. Do better!

The service was great. Parking was easy to find. As well, the food came out piping hot and the serving sizes were large. We even had leftovers to takeaway! Overall, I’d highly recommend Nyamekye for anyone who is looking to eat authentic Ghanaian food in Toronto. Thank you for your hospitality!

These people their customer service is very bad..I had to wait 45minutes for regular jollof rice..they very unorganized..their customer service is very bad..food is mediocre
