Came here in September and was happy to try authentic Georgian food. Oddly, I really enjoyed the pickled cabbage and the Chakhokhbili was a hearty stew.
This little family run Georgian restaurant is a hidden gem in north Toronto! My wife and I have been here twice and both meals were delicious. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting, with charming decor, the service is very friendly and prompt and the food is absolutely amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are great value. If you like Georgian cuisine and wine, then a meal at Tamada is a must!

We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. The Georgian dishes were excellent — the khinkali were juicy, the house salad was unique and delicious, and the khachapuri was fantastic. We also loved the eggplant rolls and their homemade honey cake. The service was very good as well. Thank you — we would definitely recommend this place.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavour, comforting, and you can truly taste the love in every dish. Our server, Nicolau, was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the dishes, how to enjoy them properly, and even shared a bit about the background behind the food. It made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and the overall vibe is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back!
Great service, great menu, nice spot, the whole concept is great. Food presentation is great too. But the food! It's my first time.aybe it's just me. But everything lack of flavor. Not sure what's off. Maybe Georgian food is not my thing. I'm not sure. But I will give them credit to everything else
Came in earlier today for a brunch with my girlfriend, place has a nice and clean interior, the couches were comfortable to sit at. I ordered khachapuri while she ordered khinkali along with lentil soups, food came relatively quickly, looked exquisite and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend coming here not once but multiple times! :) Came here recently again after 4 months and I have to say, the shawarma was very good, I loved it a lot! Probably the best in town :D
